Great, centrally located hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. We had a very large room with old and charming furniture/bed. The room was on the first floor with a view onto a busy pedestrian street which was great to watch passersby but perhaps if we stay another time we might request a room overlooking the quiet courtyard as it was pretty noisy from the street at night and early morning. The courtyard is great for a quiet glass of wine and the breakfast is simple but everything you need.

What a nice, quaint hotel is a perfect location, only a three minute walk from the clock tower square. Very clean, comfortable beds and clean, fresh bathroom plus clean towels. Proximity to the centre of town. A bit noisy with room on street side. This is a very old hotel so I suspect there is some mould in the building. It smells a bit musky. This didn't bother us but if you have an alergy you might want to take this into account. A little bit of mold in the shower. Noise from the street was a bit much Saturday night. No fresh fruit at the breakfast buffet. It was all good!. The building could use some upkeep, with the paint peeling off the ceiling and other signs of deterioration. My bed seemed to show it's age. A little uncomfortable. Wifi was not working in my room and apparently it is the 'normal state of affairs' - no wifi signal in some rooms. No airco, so it was very hot at times. Rather dark room (window facing the yard). I could hear my neighbours too well, and they were a decent quiet couple... The toilet was not really clean. There was no green tea in the cafe/restaurant for all four days of my stay. Lack of horizontal surfaces and hooks/towel holders in the bathroom and shower cubicle. It could get noisy with some passersby in the evening, but we were fine with that. It added atmosphere to the stay. Not a fault of the hotel, but of Europe in general: the beds are low. Bathtub faucet not convenient for taking shower. No elevator, way to many stairs to climb with suitcases, next time would ask for a room on the first floor. No parking, very difficult if you have a car. Wi-Fi connection is the room was poor. It was good only at the reception. had little or no hot water one morning. But later it was ok. Maybe hit a morning rush and we were on the third floor but we had no hot water that one morning. A little overpriced. room is kind of old and have some malfunciton. No fruits served with breakfast at all. Noises of the street, no AC, the breakfast was very poor. Breakfast. very cold in room. Not enough towels and toiletries, the noise in the morning. Room could use some more friendly details such as paintings or fresh flowers, TV was very outdated (and hard to watch, as the view was blocked by the frame of our wooden bed), bathroom with no hangers, the whirlpool was quite noisy and narrow. Due to the central location you do hear the drunk people on the street at night. The breakfast was only basic and only offers filter coffee (Capuccino or Espresso costs extra). They don´t have elevators. They don´t have anyone to help us with the lugage. They don´t clean the bathroom propely. The internet acess only in the reception. Our "superior" room 35, imho designed for lawyers office, was as comfortable as an empty store. The worst part was that it turned to be imossbile to sleep in it, because of the bad noise isolation. All day long (even during the weekend) the workers from the near under-heavy-reconstruction building, made incredible noise. All night long, drunk tourists were screaming under the windows. The stuff politely gave us inside facing room 21, which was quiet, but far too small for "four star" hotel. Breakfast very simple but nice sittning area outside. Beds not good and very simple rooms. Felt like Going back in time. Only cash payment!!. It is very old building, not for everyone. Bathroom is not so confortable.
