Location of the hotel is amazing, you are in the center of everything and a cozy place to stay. I think it's not a good idea to stay at this hotel in summer because there is no AC and to open the windows it is not a good solution as the hotel is located in a very busy area and the noises coming from everywhere, so it will be impossible to sleep. But still a very nice place to stay in autumn , winter and spring.

But despite the attention and care of old times, the traveller feels very comfortable in the hotel. Every detail is convenient. The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, it is quite place in the centre of Old Town. The location was perfect. I appreciated the age of the hotel and how well it had been taken care of. I don't think I could have asked for more. The room setup was perfect for us. Triple room 1 double bed, 1 twin. The free breakfast was great and just what we needed to start out day of walking. Built in 14th century .steeped in history. Excellent location just off the Old Town Square .Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast tasty and plentiful. restaurant very enjoyable. You should aware that the hotel is located although in a center of everything but in a very busy and noise area, so it is hard to sleep, especially if your windows are open… lots of noise from the street! No tea/coffee making facilities in room. There was nothing I disliked about this hotel. 50 year old blond receptionist was rude upon check in. Rest of staff was nice. No air-conditioning. As it was very hot in August, at least cealing vantilators could be a solution. When it was urgent to open the windows, you must be ready to a sleepless night because of loud noise from outside that makes echo. Squeaking wooden floor is normal, but squeaky bed is discomfortable. We were offered transfer from/to airport at a cost way above the average on the market. And the coffee was the worst ever!. This house is really old one, so there is no lift. Too hot!. Breakfast coffee not so good. Would also be nice to have coffee-making facilities in room. It got a little hot in the room, but the weather was unseasonably warm for Oct. The breakfast was not so good as i have read. It was different at saturday and sunday from the rest of the week. At saturday the room was not very clean. Does not has a lift. The double bed had 2 single mattresses. And the bed was making too much noise. WiFi is not reliable in the room. Safe box is small (not notebook/ipad size) with regular, not electronic lock. Lighting in the room could be improved: not adequate for high ceilings. The room looked better in the picture. Lack of a lift could be difficult for some people. Can get a bit noisy on weekend nights. No elevator. No elevator Noicey in the night. Old furniture. For three days i had just one tiny shampoo. No elevator(((. Beware there are no lifts if you are infirm. No tea/coffee making facilities in room, But would not stop me booking again. When coming in one night 11.30 told the bar was shut. We would have enjoyed a glass of wine before bed.usually night staff would serve a drink. No elevator, but you would expect that from a 16th century building. The female at the front counter was very nice but there was a man in his late 20's that was throwing an attitude with my wife. nothing at all. I would recommend going in the off-season; the rooms that overlook the alley by the church are noise-sinks and it was impossible to sleep with the windows open, while the absence of AC meant there was no alternative. The racket went on all night. The room floor is not clean enough, should have shoes in the room. Breakfast is not more option and same every day. Breakfast was **. Coffee-matic was terrible and there's nothing green, lettuce, tomatoes ect. Hotel stuff **. Nobody said "hello" or "good morning", reception was empty many times and they were just doing something with pc, and that was Facebooking. Even when we asked to call taxi to the airport, man in reception writed messages to fb same time. Hotel is not even close to four star hotel, I would say two and half. "Young couple: 37 & 40 yrs old". No air conditioning. Lots of noise from the street and to hot to close Windows. Food is expensive everywhere in Prague. Wifi works not well.
