The staff was extremely helpful and seemed truthfully concerned about your well-being during your stay in Prague. I lived in Prague for several years so I have the basis for judging their advice as good and precise. The breakfast was not super varied, but it was quite good. Finally the staff is composed mostly of young Czech people so they're way more friendly than the older staff elsewhere. The strict no-smoking policy is a nice break from Prague's still very permissive smoke culture.
all reviews » The location is really close to everywhere, its one block from the metro station... The staff is very friendly and all the times was ready to help you and support you... There were a very friendly environment with other guests.. The common areas its really clean and comfortables. Regarding the showers, despite they were shared with other floor hosts, they were private and clean. There were computers to use, they had activities every night that had free dinner or free booze, and the breakfast had cereal, hardy toast, apples and drinks. Also, there are people of all ages staying here, lots of older people as well. The staff was great too. Kitchen available and personal lights as well. Very good isolation, we were facing the main street but once we closed our window, we couldn't hear traffic. Good breakfast. Although the facilities were very simple, they were clean and appropriate. Helpful staff. rooms are nice and clean. breakfast is fine. staff is nice. the position is good: not in old town but it is easily reachable by foot or public trasportation (metro is like 2 minute walking). Good breakfasts, friendly staff, warm and clean rooms, good location - near city center, good price. The design a breakfest are super!! You have an excellent location and a very nice rooms. Hostel Advantage is the best!. helpful staff close to the metro station good wifi signal, also in the room free internet at the reception clear bathroom the breakfast was great for those few days padlock lending (for deposit) you can leave your luggage at the reception after checkout. In all, not bad. And i will remeber this hostel because i got the most precious gift from my room mates, an iPhone cable. Not really the hostel's fault, but some guests were a bit on the rude side, arriving late, intoxicated and slamming doors. I guess it can't be avoided at the rates they offer. The breakfast was not so variety.. But Im pretty sure for those relaxed travelers its not a problem... The beds were uncomfortable. The showers were also a bit see-through. No AC but it was pretty cool at night. Deposit for towels and locks but you get it back later. Lots of stairs and no elevator. Since we had huge suitcases and backpacks, it wasn't easy to get to the room. no bed lights. Bathrooms are cleand relative rarely. If there would be a big mirrow in the room as well as a locker for small staff - it would be good. And the temperature in the room wasn't really warm. Food. The bathroom was a bit dirty. Warm rooms, no AC so if you open the window the noise from the street wont let you sleep. As there is common room a different bed time and wake up time might be a problem ( not in my case ) and the biggest problem can be if your room mate next to you is snoring ( partially my case :) ). couldn't lock myself in the shower. credit/debit card is not accepted the cleaner staff is a bit noisy in the morning the room had 3 bed as mentioned at the website, but an another room (with 6 bed) was opened from it. i arrived in early morning in Prague, but i couldn't have a shower and couldn't check-in when I arrived.
