It was a 10 minute walk to Old Town and the tram stops, farmers market and grocery store were all just round the corner. The hostel is about 250m down on the left side of the street in a little alcove area - A hostel with ideal location - right in the very center of the city. The room was clean and with the basic facilities. The personel was helpful. It is more suitable for younger people or for open-minded mature couples since there is no option for en suite bathroom. However, the location and the amiable atmosphere make the Brit Hostel a place of choice for Zagreb.

The room is very clean and has a comfortable bed. Breakfast is served at the wished time in the morning and prepared exactly according to one's needs. And the location is just perfect, only a few steps from the main square of Zagreb. I totally recommend staying at Studio Kairos 2!

The double room I had was very comfortable and a decent size.   Me and my friends stayed at this hotel last month for 1 night. We booked a 4 pers. ap. I liked the way it looked but we had no oppening window to the exterior. It was a glass wall, the batheoom had no window and the other room had a small window to the coridor. It was ok for us, because it was not that hot outside but I can imagine it can get pret... what people say » ty hot and suffocating in the summer (it was ap. 3). On the otherhand, I think they have also some pretty cosy ap. and maybe with windows. Liked verry - As business consultant I can tell to all potential visitors coming to ZAGREB: Hotel ILICA - can be a case study for all young hotel managers of how to get benefits from hotel with very limited possibilities. I can recommend it for businessmen, turists who do not like ARTIFICIAL "keep smiling" and prefer very open minded and sincere attitude of hotel staff. These guys really like to serve and help...Nothing to do with trained "robots".

  Absolute breath of fresh air!! This hotel really made my trip to Zagreb special...the staff are ultra nice, attentive, friendly and genuinely appear to love their jobs. After being on vacation now for 7 weeks in Europe, and having stayed at many different types of establishment, I can honestly say my stay at " Zagreb for you" ranks at the top of m... what people say » y list for accommodation experiences. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done with a warm smile and I was made to feel very very special. I - The staff (particularly Josipa) are very welcoming and friendly, providing good tips in perfect English with a LOT of enthusiasm. The guesthouse is fairly new and has a modern take on what used to be a fireman station. The rooms are clean, big, spacious, and simplly furnished with all you need for a confortable stay. If you get in tired and hungry, the restaurant in front is pretty decent and has reasonable prices. You can walk to the city center in an easy 20 minute stroll or you can take th
