Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is central to places to see and to restaurants and cafes. Accomodation is clean and comfortable. Breakfast has more than you could ever want. Free computers in business center. Rooms are quiet despite proximity to lots of activity. Good value for the cost. I selected hotel for rate and location. Location fantastic! You step out of the front door and there you are in the middle of everything, cafes, restaurants, shops and the main square. The room and the bathroom were also clean. The hotel has limited parking spots and therefore we had to park elsewhere which was more expensive.I did not like old windows in the room,and that the parking is not in the hotel building. Breakfast was quite poor, juices especially, but it was possible to buy "normal-standard" quality ones at the café side.Overall, fine for a night in transit or brief stay. The hotel is difficult to locate (definitely make use of the directions function) and to access by car - although hotel parking is nearby and is included in the price. Although clean, the room was small, the air conditioning was weak and the windows aren't very soundproof (although noise is to be expected given the hotel's prime location). Pretty small rooms, there is no free wireless internet in all rooms (youhave to sit in the hall to access the net..), the fitness center is verysmall and poorly equiped. Initial impression was bland and boring, disinterested check-in staff but the longer we stayed the more we appreciated the convenience and comfort and realised the staff problem was just one individual. the hotel lobby was very outdated dating back to 70/80s and the rooms were bland and business like in comparison to other hotels which we sawin Zagreb for the same price .difficult car access; we had to leave our car at a private parking far from the hotel and to carry the luggage by hand for quite a long distance. Bar closed very early. the smell of moist due to the air condition. bad welcoming. They had this smell of sewer in the room all the time. And it did not help to open the window or stop the air condition. I suspect there is a piping problem in the city, old pipes or wathever.... We did not want to complaint to the staff, we thought the problem was present in all rooms. But there should be some kind of information about this in the rooms. At times it was impossible to breathe. It was a bit tired and is in need of a refurbishment. Cleanliness. It is almost impossible to reach the hotel with a car. I was forced to take on taxi to lead me to the parking and the driver bringed me there through an infringement of traffic regulations. Furthermore non for each guest of the hotel there is a car-place in the parking.Rooms a little bit old fashioned, the breakfast was not good...... Fairly basic facilities and rooms need a refurbish.Room and Bathroom too small for the price. Breakfast buffet not to par with oter 4 stars hotels. I do think that we, as a very respected company (IAI Israel), entitled to get a special company rate for our future visits, which are going to be much more and very often. Thanking you in advance."Communal" air-conditioning system is a problem: in autumn you cannot cool your room when management have set the overall system to heating. At night our room was very hot with the A/C off, and hotter with it on. On reporting this we were told "open a window", but this is very noisy (trams operating below from 4.30AM).

The hotel entrance can not be reached by car since its located in the pedestrian zone. The hotel's private parking is approximately 100 meters away. The parking lot is accessed through the pedestrian zone, so please disregard the left turn prohibiting sign as the hotel’s guests freely enter this zone with vehicles. The parking entrance has a ramp and speakerphone on it that will open upon identification.
