  We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment which is newly refurbished. The facilities are compact but you have everything you need and it has been decorated nicely. Very clean and great little kitchen for preparing your own food. Definitely recommend! - Great location. Staff is attentive and very helpful. Their friendship is never overpowering and you can opt out at any point. We chose to enjoy everything that they offered and thoroughly enjoyed it. We liked being sat at a breakfast table a - Excellante! Never met better hosts.Jose,Karen & Monica go above and beyond for their guests. We feel at least 90% of running a B&B are the hosts, and these folks are the best. We were also surprised at how easy it was to travel the whole city and beyond from their location, yet avoid the noise and confusion of locating in the more touristy parts of Valpo. The accomadations are very clean and the hosts wonderful. Combined with a easily accessible location, you cannot beat Casa Henao. We

  Stayed in Nov 2013 as a couple where we had an amazing time. The staff (especially Daniella) is knowledgeable, always available and all speak good english. We had room #2 who's spacious and very clean. We truly enjoyed the breakfast with real fresh juices. Would come back again! - I would recommend this Hostal. \The service was great and although the room was double-booked the staff did everything possible to accommodate us. I'd stay here again.   I loved the location on Cerro Bellavista- amongst all the street art and being away from the main tourist hordes. Mother & daughter combination of Patricia and Sarah are warm, friendly and very helpful with suggestions of things to do etc and even recommended places to visit away from Valparaiso. They also took me on a night tour before I left... what people say » . What a beautiful city it is. There is no reception as such, but Sarah or Patricia greet guests who have booked and there's a mobile/cell phone ther - The owners are lovely....very welcoming and helpful. English is spoken. My room with twin beds had a lovely typically Valpo view down a steep ravine and over to the next hill...interesting both night and day. I had good sleeps as this area is quieter than some. The hostal is being renovated and will have a nice eating area with a great view. Do it yourself breakfast and the opportunity for cooking your own lunch or dinner.. Espiritu Santo, almost next door, is an excellent restaurant. Try it.

Staff were extremely helpful and informative - they took us down the mountain to show us where to catch the trolley bus and collectivo (cheap taxis to take you back up the mountain), and spent time telling us places to visit and how to get there.
