Location very good - on Cerro Concepción, so close to great restaurants and sights, but located in an alley off the main street, so a little quieter at night. LOVED my stay - lovely space and design - cant say enough good things about it

  We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived. The staff welcomed us and, as we had arrived before our room was ready, they ensured we were comfortable in their lounge with fresh tea and coffee while our room was finished.   We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment which is newly refurbished. The facilities are compact but you have everything you need and it has been decorated nicely.   This is like going to stay with your favorite relations. There are no fake welcomes here - Karen and Jose take you in and you are one of the family. Their friendship is never overpowering and you can opt out at any point. We chose to enjoy everything that they offered and thoroughly enjoyed it. We liked being sat at a breakfast table a - Excellante! Never met better hosts.Jose,Karen & Monica go above and beyond for their guests. We feel at least 90% of running a B&B are the hosts, and these folks are the best. We were also surprised at how easy it was to travel the whole city and beyond from their location, yet avoid the noise and confusion of locating in the more touristy parts of Valpo. The accomadations are very clean and the hosts wonderful. Combined with a easily accessible location, you cannot beat Casa Henao. We

  Stayed in Nov 2013 as a couple where we had an amazing time. The staff (especially Daniella) is knowledgeable, always available and all speak good english. We had room #2 who's spacious and very clean. We truly enjoyed the breakfast with real fresh juices. Located in Cerro Alegre, the hostal is close to many good restaurant and easy access to bu... what people say » s / metro. Would come back again! - I would recommend this Hostal. \The service was great and although the room was double-booked the staff did everything possible to accommodate us. I'd stay here again. They even provided a 6 am breakfast!
