Joe was nice and very friendly. He gave us some advices/suggestions
which appeared to be very helpful. Location is very near to Chinatown
and Science center. Transport is convenient to get to downtown, either
by bus or skytrain. Building may look old from outside but the inner
building is well-maintained. Room and common area were clean too.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Slept very well here, very
comfortable beds. Nice common areas. Location was very convenient.

The place was clean and tidy. We were on the top floor room 37, which was away from the stairs and kitchen. Staff were helpful and polite. Generally okay for a backpackers. A couple of blocks away there is an area of homeless in the areas of Sally Army and the likes. People do beg for fags and money but are not offended if you say no. Clean towels and linen.

very hot in rooms particularly the kitchen, where you can only open the window an inch. Lack of cutlery. Curfew from the kitchen at 9.30pm.

everithing. Never meet a sattf so rude and unwelcoming. Hostel does not mean "unfriendly and rude". Just avoid it.
I left at 7AM and nobody was at the reception so my deposit is gone. Emailing them for a credit but they don't answer (3 emails in 15 days). Think my deposit is gone for real: I can consider it like a "donation".
