The room was just the right size. The free internet was a bonus add breakfast and it was unbelievable for the prize. For the price i didn't expect much, yet the rooms where spacious and the facilities where good and clean. I would diffidently stay their again on a return trip. And the Boston Bruins beat the Montreal Canadians which made the trip that much better.Even though I didn't use it, Just being close to the Metro station and the food court that I went to. all reviews »
Great location and great prices.Location. everything was at a walking distance- the hotel staff was helpful, the room was small but clean.If you travel by bus the hotel is steps away from the Montreal Bus Depot. It was close to many things, great location downtown and cheap too!. The staff should be more friendly. Some of them have a good knowledge ofFrench, some most improve. To be frank, I didnt really like anything about this hotel. If I hadto name one thing - the bed was comfy. I didnt really enjoy any of mystay at this hotel and ended up leaving after one night - we hadbooked for 5 nights.Nothing. Was terrible, did not stay there for the full duration. Ownerwas very difficult with us and changed from speaking perfect english toony french when we advised we had to check out earlier than expected. a coffeemaker would be a welcome addition.Not having a iron in the room. The remote control didn't work. thin towels(but still work well). The breakfast was really sad- the coffee was cold, the juice was warm, but fridge in room made bringing own breakfast a breeze. Also, so close to the bus terminal- good since you don;t need to drive to get here and to move around the city, but loud at night. When the a/c was not on, you could smell smoke from the vent (someoneelse smoking in another room).It was very noisy as someone upstairs was jumping around in the middle of the night as though it were a gymnasium.I couldn't bear to spend the extra night there. Breakfast...no place for having it.I didnt like this hotel, where it was situated, the room, and theoverall quality of the hotel. The final straw was the 'continentalbreakfast' where we had to eat in our room from polysterene cups andplates. The orange juice was warmer than the coffee. I know this is a 2star hotel, but I think it would be better suited in a back packershostel brochure. Was a terrible hotel. Bad location and area. Terrible room, tiny,internal view of all aircon. Units so could'nt open window because ofheat and noise. No breatfast facilities. Breakfast was served at thereception desk and warmed up in a microwave behind the desk which youhad to take back to your room. Left after one night because it was sobad, but the owner made us pay for 3 nights.

Driving from Toronto:
- From 401 East take 20 East, on 20 East follow Centre Ville signs.
- Take Ville Marrie tunnel; in the middle of the tunnel take exit number 6 (Berri exit) and the 2nd signal light is Berri Street.
- On Berri St turn left and at the 3rd signal light is St Catherine Street on the right.
- On St-Catherine St after one signal light is St-Hubert Street. Turn left on to St-Hubert St, and after you pass Maisonneuve Street (only one signal light) turn left.
Driving from New York:
- Take the 87 North and after customs take 15 North.
- On 15 N take Chanplain Bridge.
- Follow Centre Ville sign up to Renes Levesque Street.
- Turn right after 9 or 10 traffic light in to St-Hubert Street.
- Turn left after the 2nd light (when you pass Maisonneuve St).
