I was looking for a place near Midi station and I came across this
B&B. What a treat! Instead of the usual soulless hotel I was used to
when travelling to Bruxelles for business, this place is home to a real
art collection put together by the owners, has huge rooms each with its
distinct style (I had probably the most classical one, named after the
singer Farinelli), and a very nice outdoor patio... Of course getting to
use it is a matter of luck against Bruxelles weather.

Very nice B&B, close to Brussels Midi train station. Owner very pleasant. Room I was in (India Room) was basically an efficiency apartment with fully equipped kitchen and dining table. As it is a B&B, there is not daily room make up. You make your own bed. Free WiFi. Breakfast is continental with pastries, bread, yogurt, cheese, fresh fruit, coffee and juice.
Frederic is a terrific host, very pleasant and very accommodating. Very firm, comfortable bed, wonderful decor all around, great outdoor terrace, luxurious bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended. Once you've figured out the metro for the first time it's a breeze getting to and around the city center.
The place is very nice indeed and the reception lovely. It is very elegant and beautiful and Frederic was very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely go there on another occasion. Indeed I would like to soon. I cannot fault the breakfast, luxurious accommodation or value for money.
What a nice surprise, staying in this beautiful house turned into a
B&B in the middle of Brussels, 5 minutes from Eurostar train
station. Quiet location, decorated with a keen eye for detail, I would
definitely come back here again. Best value for money in Brussels.
This B&B was a great surprise! The decoration is simply wonderful, with plenty of antiques and modern art works. Rooms are huge (36 sq.m and more) and each one decorated with a different theme.

Best hotel experience I have ever had. Excellent location near Brussels Midi and other main sightseeing spot. Very large room with very tasteful deco. The owner is pretty nice and helpful. In a word is perfect.
if you ever wondered what it feels like to stay in a museum during a night then this hotel is your opportunity to satisfy your curiosity. A "museum room" with comfortable bed, kitchen and shower.
The room declaration is amazing! Very large but delicate room with shower and bath. The host is a nice gentlemen and must be an artist with great taste. Luxury experience with fair price.

Cash payment (but I was clearly notified of this well before my arrival).
There is no lift. As the floors have approximately 15 foot ceilings, it takes two flights to get up one floor so a second floor room took 4 flights to get up. No credit cards accepted and payment for stay upon check in but I was notified well in advance so was no problem.
There is nothing that I did not like. But, I would just say that credit cards are not accepted, so payment is in cash. Also, while it is perfectly placed for the stations, the area around is not a beautiful or relaxing one.
There is no elevator.
There is no visible hotel sign outside the building. So it is easy to confuse the hotel building as another apartment building.
A little bit hard to find for no obvious signal.
- that they don't accept credit/ debit cards. I had problems withdrawing cash with my overseas bank cards and had to cash advance from my credit card eventually;
- Full length mirror in the room would be handy.
