Everything was great. The room was large and beautiful, so as the bathroom which had a bathtub. The bed is really comfortable and environment is so quiet that we woke up thanks to the birds outside. The breakfast was very nice, with fresh pastries, eggs, ham, cheese and fresh fruits. There is a lovely garden too. Tania is a really sweet host, always available to help and give advices on places to visit and restaurants to go. Would definitely stay again, plus the location 5-min walk to the main .
all reviews » Beautiful place to stay, right in the centre of Bruges but on a small street so no traffic noise and very near the canal. Loved the light, airy and luxurious room (vanilla room) which also had a lovely roll top slipper bath and walk in shower. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff met us and showed us around and served a great continental breakfast. Honesty bar and access to kitchen for teas and coffees was a nice touch. Beautiful tiny courtyard garden. I cannot rate this Guesthouse highly enough. We were made to feel at home from the outset and the kitchen facilities/contents were available to us 24hrs a day. For those who have not visited Bruges, it is small enough to aimlessly wander around the streets taking in all the wonderful sights. No11's location is perfect to facilitate this. The cost of the accommodation is indicative of Bruges albeit I would say that this intimate Guesthouse is 5 star. The hostess was friendly and very helpful in planning what to do with our short time in Bruges. The place was pristine in its cleanliness with beautiful artwork displayed in a very tasteful manner. The garden was a dream and a lovely relaxing spot to have coffee in the morning. Everything was perfectly appointed and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I am only sorry we couldn't stay longer. Small intimate B&B with very friendly and helpful staff, who helped us with restaurant reservations before we had even arrived! Excellent location, just two doors down from a bridge over the canal and a five minute walk (if that) to the Burg and Markt. Whole house beautiful and room lovely and comfy with amazing roll-top bath. Would definitely recommend. We stayed in the attic room (grey/white room) and it was spacious and relaxing. The design was perfect and facilities spot on. You couldn't get more central and is close to a very well priced secure car park (18 euros for 2 days). Breakfast timings were perfect for a lie in and the selection of food was yummy and set us up for the day. Unusual. If you like "In Brugges" movie this is your way. Best Location. Friendly stuff. Due to the central location - if there are evening events on in the main square or by canal - you will hear them, we happened to have a 5yr festival booming until midnight for when we were there!. nothing at all. nothing. The only thing that wAs tricky were the two flights of narrow steep stairs but the ladies who ran 11 were happy to carry my bags. The towels could have been larger and softer but that's being really picky.... Absolutely nothing to dislike at all. some people may not like the stairs but it was not a problem for us. TV in the room could be bigger and tea/coffee facilities in the room instead of having to go down stairs.
