We loved Atlantis and the access to beach, waterslides, and lazy rivers. We loved the setting on Paradise Island. We loved the security and the ability to walk from hotel to beach to waterslides, hotels, etc. with ease. We loved the weather, and most of the staff treated us really well and were very friendly and helpful. We loved the staff at the Cave and Grill. Those girls were very wonderful and beautiful!.
all reviews » I loved the ambiance with the aquarium and waterfalls. Atlantis beach was great - with the jet skis. The food in the restaurants was excellent. I went during the low season and it was far from full. This meant there was loads of room at the pool and generally in the hotel. Staff extremely serviceminded and they are everywhere. Facilities are good. Water activities are good. Good place for families as well as romantic couples. Location And view was great. We where check in in the coral tower so i was very happy. They have a lot of hidden cost, but it still good price. Being at Atlantis and having access to the facilities was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly. Location, Staff, Facilities was very good. Room was clean and big. Nice scenic beatuies. we recommend. The Aquacentre was fantastic great fun. Great gardens, pools, aquarium & marina. Immaculately clean & lots to do. Fun waterpark and nice views. Friendliness of staff. Meeting people from all over the world. Great stay, each time i go it's better and better!. waterpark and underground Aquarians were fantastic. Everything is great in this paradise. The view of the balcony was super beautiful and the room huge. The beach is amazing. Excelent water park (recommended to wear shorts). Amazing dolphin interaction. Beautiful sunset at paradise beach. Some staff like Eugina and Bernadette at the consierge desk were awesome! Very helpful, friendly, truly great employees. The pools and water parks as well as the grounds were awesome. We didn't like the high taxes on the rooms. We didn't like how the concierge staff seemed unwilling and unfriendly in explaining to us our bill for the rooms. We didn't care for the restaurants that much. It's not that they were bad, but they were high priced, and the food selection was not as healthy as I would have liked, very high sodium foods. A bit isolated from town. Prices are in general too high for food and other items. The resort area is perhaps too big. Room price incl taxes is high. You have to pay a lot of for water - 7$ for 1,5l. Our view was horrible - definitely pay more for an ocean view. While the staff was nice, they had no clue what was going on. We kept trying to book extras and were given the run around. Internet was expensive and didn't work well. Biggest complaint was that the pools all close at 5 P.M.! Also, restaurants are not always opened, and we had problems finding service restaurants that were open. Charge deposit from credit card without any information, after check out they give back. Food and drink was a bit expensive. Quiet at night and many resturants & bars were closed (off season) which limited options other then casino. Some rip off resturants but can avoid (eg marinas pizza. Cost was astronomical! Tips & fees were never-ending. Expect to add at least $100 per day for utilities, gratuities, fees and taxes for your room alone. I booked for $270 per day & cost was actually $370 per day after all fees were added. Food prices too high. too expensive for a family to eat meals especially when children do not eat much. The shower was broken. Didn't have slippers and bath robe, we asked twice for them and they delayed 1 hour to bring us the robes. They charged a mini bar without we consumed anything. They didn't clean the bath well. Everything is super expensive. PS.: we stayed in the Coral Towers because the Beach Towers wasn't working. Most employees at any hotel were not very friendly and even the politeness seemed forced. Food was way to expensive, more moderate priced restaurants should be available.
