Location in the Rocks is ideal for spending time in downtown Sydney. Quiet location with a parking bonus. B&B provided on the street parking for a very reasonable fee. Parking in Sydney is hard to find, The B&B has made arrangements for convenient parking right in front of the B&B. Staying in a house so old was really impressive. As they are restriced in the improvements they can make, I sat in the communal lounge and it felt like the lounge from my childhood. The breakfast out in the garden was excellent.

I was disappointed that we didn't get the room with a balcony that we'd booked, but the owner was really nice about it and we sorted it out amiably. televisions in adjacent rooms can be quite noisy (owners should put a sign on each TV to remind guest of this fact!) rooms on low floors don't have the view - book early and ask for a high level room!. The steps leading into the hotel although the staff did offer to help with bags. Not a lot. the length of trip, wanted to stay longer. nothing. will return. the weather. shared bathroom however only shared with one other room and for the price and location cant complain. Bit tricky to find. Noise of other guests arriving to rooms late at night. did not cater for gluten free, easy to have gluten free bread in freezer. Bit pricey. Did not have a high chair for my 1 yr old, the rooms although full of character were very dusty!.
