Had an outstanding time from the moment I walked through the doors! Staff were excellent and really friendly, and we received a complementary bottle of champagne for my partners birthday :) The room was one of the nicest I've stayed in, and everything was of high quality! :) T2 tea yum!! So relaxing and a perfect way to celebrate a milestone! :). Simply everything. It has been one of the better hotels I have stayed at in Sydney. The staff is just friendly and efficient in getting you reservations etc. The rooms are very good with a great BOSE and Apple audio system to feel over relaxed.

My wife really like the cookies. The Est restaurant is one of the best in the world. Location, Foyer incense, Staff. everything was superb. Comfort of the room. Great location. Bose surround system and toiletries. The bed and pillows very comfy, the lighting and the music was good - T2 tea a great touch. The bed was a bit hard for me so I didn't sleep too well. And the entrance is difficult to find, had to call reception for directions!. Additional investments will be required to get the noise out of the rooms although the room I stayed at was dead silence but my colleague room got too much noise. Noise from laneway during early hours of morning to dawn due to garbage collection. No views. It's expensive, but pure luxury doesn't come cheaply. For the first visit the hotel is difficult to find. Lighting too dim for wife putting on makeup!. the door is a little hard to find and taxis are reluctant to go down the lane to take you to the door. Expected more of an entrance lobby than just off a back ally. There were no complimentary tooth brushes or hair brushes which are provided by other 5 star establishments. Carpet is lifting on level 3 near room 32. Toilet and shower in romm 32 could do with with a refresh. Lane way access is difficult for taxi's to get as it is blocked by trucks in the morning. It made me late waiting for a taxi to get access. Rooms can be quite noisy. The room was not like what was advertised, no mention that breakfast was included - still charged anyway - no mention of credit card surcharge - service was dull - couldn't find the entrance - ridiculous!! proper signage would be good. overall very disappointed! we were celebrating an anniversary - I spent so much time looking for the perfect setting and I didn't get what I paid for, I booked a deluxe room with 'luxury lounge' - didn't get that at all.
