Thanks to reception concierge staff. We had various dealings in particular with Michelle who we found to be focussed on providing us with an outstanding level of customer service each time. Thanks again this type of service will ensure we return. Michael and Suzan. Very comfortable,roomy apartment. Well equipped and very central to the purpose required. Bed comfortable and very little road notice heard. Will definitely stay here again as I visit family in the area regularly.
all reviews » Bus stops close to the plaza. Very nice gardens, well kept. Able to leave luggage in a secure area after checking out while we did last minute shopping. Staff at front desk were very very helpful and polite. Great Location. Close proximenity to all vacilities, shops, movie theatres, clubs, beach. Car parking vacilities great! Didn't need to take vechile out once as all amenities, shops within walking distance. Loved the location, absolutely ideal for us.Check in was professional and very efficient, Aleksander's customer service was excellent. Pool and gardens were fantastic. Location and staff were great. I have advised them of my poor experience. Close to beach. Close to cafes and shops. Close to airport. Clean. Great pool for the kids. Nice Motel. N/A. Bath was dirty, ring around the inside.had not been cleaned for a while. Dishes a bit old a grotty. Glasses very thin,two broken while washing. Mattress cover on bed very grubby & soiled, needs wash! A little dishwashing liquid for washing up instead/ or as well as powder for dishwasher would be great, as not all of us wish to start diswasher for a few plates & cups. Noise from corridors. Nothing. Not much to grumble about! I rpobably would have liked a sea view (but I was cheap!) Probably a mini bar would help. was good. Noisy air-conditioning units during the night. Minor: - No coffee plunger - half hour free internet was difficult to access. Bed was a bit soft for our liking. The room was a little tired in it's decor and in need of a bit of repair, eg some of the kitchen cabinets were chipped or had peeling paint etc. A cost for wifi. Couldn't find a rubbish chute. There was empty coffee sachets beside microwave from previous guests. There was heavy dust in places & the shower spurted water over me from its pivot point when turned on. Seems to have a leak. Rooms are a bit noisy. N/a. The toilet didn't flush very well and ran.. I did not have the use of electricity for the first 24 hours I was at the Calypso. Thus no TV or electric jug/toaster etc. I did not know,that a previous holiday maker had " trippe " the power switch. All good. Children running up the hallways at night and people slamming their door. Cleanliness of Kitchen Equipment (cutlery, crockery, glassware...). Lifts were very slow. N/a. The spa was nice and warm but did not bubble correctly. No maid service like a regular hotel. long walks to the lifts. no bath plugs. The bed was very hard. other than that was fantastic. Booking was incorrectly processed showing only 1 apartment instead if 2. 30 mins to check in, then while having lunch I receive a call from calypso informing me that they have made a mistake with the credit card payment could I call into reception and fix. Next morning At check out there was still a problem with the pre auth and payment. All this was human error. The door to the balcony didn't work. The white silicone around the spa was moldy and disgusting. I would take 10 mins to fix. No free wifi. No mini bar. Too expensive for the very few 'extras' on offer. I have stayed here a few years ago and it is beginning to feel its age. It is becoming 'tired looking'. Gate to the beach wasn't working, apparently it is let slam too often. Reception told me that yes it did work, you just needed to be tough with it. Well I was, and it made no difference. I would have liked to see staff take ownership of the problem.Hasn't anyone thought to put a hydraulic door closer, or a spring on the gate?. dish washer was dirty, fridge dirty and also bath tubs in both room was dirty. noise factor. did not like the street view at the rear of the building, with adjoining highrise buildings. The bed was extremely hard.
