the views of the ocean., from every advantage point in all rooms even the toilet. Spa spacious and hot and plenty to choose from. Steam room facility clean and you had a choice steam or sauna room with a shower provided. You didn't need to go far for a good meal the inhouse restaurant and bristro provided succulent and tasty meals . Location was perfect not foo far away to walk to caville ave but far enough to be away from noisy party goers. We would recommend this hotel to others.Thanks for .
all reviews » Staff very friendly and helpful. We only had a one night stay as it was for medical reasons we were there, but I will return on the next trip up north. Loads of eating places in the area and a short walk over the road and you are on the beach. Great for early morning walks and swims. The Chateau also boasts a good size pool and spa. The room was well equipped, stove, microwave, a small fridge along with cutlery/crockery etc. etc.Undercover parking available at no extra cost. Good on ya Chateau. My Sister and I went to meltdown after a busy year and that is what Beachside Resort did for us. It ticked all our boxes Beach, Accomadition, Relaxation in the unit or around the leisure areas the Service was friendly and inviting it was so good I have invested in time accomadition but would go back to this accomadition again. Decoration in the room a little tired but still very clean and excellent value for money. When going to bed there was a stain on the sheet which was off putting. When leaving I was asked how I enjoyed my stay I mentioned it was great. (I did mention the stain and the response from reception was of genuine concern and I was satisfied with the outcome and response. Hotel was a little run down as lifts were out of order constantly entry to car park was not properly identifiable, no directional road indicators , this could lead to accidents. Nothing. Car parking did become an issue at one point... So of the windows were hard to open and close... nothing major. The stove is not very hot. The room is a bit dirty with the trash underneath the sofa. No Airconditioning, Noise from traffic. The windows rattled, and needed cleaning on the outside along the southern side. Also the window ledge (very narrow) inside was dirty, needed a quick wipe as it looked lie it hadn't been cleaned for months. The rest was fine. No wi fi in room. The interior surrounding need improvement look old. First impressions when u step in will make your happy holiday booked a regrets. Only after a one or two days stay you will find that it was a good choice. That there was no stoves or ovens that I could cool for my boyfriend. Other thank that it was amazing!!. Our room didn't have a toaster. no airconditioning. Wi Fi not available in room. Spa bath did not work. No air conditioner. The weather. The sound of the wind was annoying sometimes through the pipe coming from the ceiling the wind was literally whistling!. no recycle bin in the room didnt like self service - didnt get fresh towels and had to ask for toilet paper. Nothing. The front staff could be more friendly and learn to smile. No balcony Saw cockroach in the room. noisy at night. Parking - had to go to higher level whic was extremely difficult to manouvre - high risk of damage to vehicle. Added deposit unnecessary these days when credit card details have been given - retaining for 5-10 not appreciated. the fold out bed was broken, we had to take the mattress off it and it was very lumppy.... I didn't like the $ 200 bond, I wasn't really prepared for it and I don't know if it was mentioned when I booked online, I think that definitely needs to b more clear and upfront when buying online. the troubles in gold coast. little noisy at night. Traffic because of the roadworks.
