Staff on check in where lovely. Was a great place to stay after spending the day at Aussie World. Room was comfortably compact had everything we required without tripping over each other. The beds & pillows very comfortable, Our kids enjoyed the in room spa as well as the out door spa & pool. Unfortunately we didn't try the restaurant as it was closed being anzac day. Only suggestion would be to have more tea, sugar & milk in rooms as 4 teabags 6 sugars & 3 x 20ml uht milk was n.
all reviews » Set in beautiful surroundings, which were great to relax in at the end of the day & wonderful to have the restaurant. As we were there for sporting activities it was wonderful to have the spa in the room to help the sore muscles at the end of the day. The bed was very comfortable & a wonderful view from the window of the room. What a great deal. The grounds and facilities were amazing. The lagoon and pool area were remarkable. Lots to do with open spaces, tennis courts, volleyball nets, and footy posts. Large spacious rooms with crisp, clean bedding. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. They were willing to help with a couple requests. comfortable and well-appointed rooms and bathroom, cosy restaurant and bar area, lovely outdoor settings, impeccably maintained adjacent playground, lily pond and playing field. Hotel very easy to find, well situated and smooth and friendly check-in & out. The staff were very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was great. The room was very clean as was the entire premises. The showers were great. It just ticked all the boxes. Can't wait to go back. We haven't been that relaxed in so long. convenience to Caloundra close to local supermarket mid point between pelican waters and caloundra west to meet with friends and family for family event new area where we stayed was clean and new in foyer area and throughout. I enjoyed the well laid out park like setting, the spa pool was a hit with my grand daughter, the room was comfortable, clean and roomy. Breakfast was excellent in the restaurant with a lovely friendly waitress. The pool is lovely, lots of facilities, friendly check-in staff. Surprised it was a resort, assumed it was just an Oaks hotel highrise at Caloundra. Was a nice treat as an impromptu getaway from Brisbane!. I enjoyed the spaciousness of the layout of the hotel and rooms and lifts for easy access plus the restaurant-was very good- and the very pleasant grounds of the complex. the pool area and the playground..would love to have tried restraint but it was closed for a wedding never mind plenty of food places nearby. Friendly staff, rooms are noise solid(can't hear others) lots of area for kids to run around, design of the entire place is excellent. The location was very good and close to the beach, shopping, restaurants. The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The grounds were amazing for the children they loved it great pool n spa good vicinity for beaches n shopping and walking paths. Villa was clean and comfortable, wished we could have stayed for longer. Easy walk to the shops Loved the spa and putting green. Location is good for visiting Glass House Mountains and Australia zoo. Apart from that lovely stay. Iys been 4 days since I checked out and I am still waiting for the $150 deposit to go back onto my credit card. The vent for the a/c above the doorway was very noisy & disturbed our sleep. Would have been good to have at least a second chair in the room. The restaurant needs little more variety in the mains. It was disappointing when we arrived and the pool and spa were under maintenance. Would have liked to use them, but it has to be done at some point. Part of the parking lot was taken up with trailers and storage containers. There was some type of car race and teams were using this as there base. Not an issue really. There was still plenty of parking. Not applicable. the toilet drips constantly the bathroom taps are so tight its difficult to manoevure them on and then hard to turn off hold the lift button for the floor destination until the lift moves otherwise you dont move. Reception staff weren't that friendly, received a very crisp welcome. NO hot chocolate for my grand daughter. Was told by staff to walk to the supermarket and buy some!? Family friendly? Not for us :(. Fairly expensive for a studio room - which appears as a former standard Motel room. Looks like it needs some more refurbishment, many areas with chipped paint and dated décor. Thought the Oaks was located closer to Bulcock beach restaurants, but the walk took about 15 mins which was okay. The pool lounge chairs are upright and fixed, they are very strange! Cannot lay on your stomach, had to lay on the woodboards to get sun on my back. there were no plates or cutlery in the room for snacks only wineglasses, mugs and tea and coffee facilities. spa in room was a wee bit little for two. Car parking a bit too tight, especially at reception (easy door damage),microwave would be handy for basic rooms. TV's make a stupid noise for on and off. not on a beach. Unit needed some maintenence. Very noisy in the middle of the night - after the wedding. Pool was freezing No access to allow printing from internet. Very quiet - not much to do in Caloundra. Not enough crockery and cutlery. No knives to even prepare some fruit or a picnic. Lack of service to rooms. Never had to pay for towels to be replaced. Pillows very uncomfortable. Car park road condition requires maintenance. I didn't book for 2 nights. Room service for meals was not clear There was no compendium about the resort which would have helped We could get Austar/Foxtel channels but could not access local channels on the TV Not a lot of parking (it was also raining which made it more difficult to get to the entrance). No under cover parking. The bathroom was a little small. Small Shower room - Towel space limited - No hanging space in shower room Bedroom stowage space limited and small. The condition of the rooms could be improved their were scratches and scuff marks on most of the doors. Found the room, mainly bathroom dirty around the spa. was unaware of the unit being on the 3rd floor via steps until arrival. Reported shower screen was broken and lightbulb in main bedroom bed light not working. The fly screen in the 2nd bedroom needs checking as it is out of its track and a hazard to younger children. With the weekend being quite wet we were unable to use the facilities available without going outside and getting wet. Had to park along way from our room due to so many cars. Minimal equipment for self catering. The two bedroom villa is 2 seperate rooms (was not aware of this), was worried my young children would lock themselves in. I had to make a door stop up to prevent to door from closing. Old fashioned taps. I am used to lever taps. room door to loose which cause sound noise from the corridor. The light off verandah shined in our room all night under curtains above our bed. We had to put a blanket over window on the second night. Frypan in kitchen could be a bigger. other than that great. Maintenance in the building inappropriate for a relaxing stay.

Please note that Reflections restaurant has the following opening hours: Breakfast is available from 7:00-9:30, Monday to Friday and from 7:00-10:30, Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is available from 17:30-20:30, Tuesday to Saturday. You are kindly requested to present a valid credit card along with photo ID upon arrival. Please note that the credit card presented on check-in must be in the same name as the guest on the booking confirmation. Please note that this hotel requires a AUD 75 credit card pre-authorisation upon check in to cover any incidental charges.
