Although the weather was appalling with days of torrential rain and wind, at least I was comfortable in a spotlessly clean, well equipped studio apartment. The bed was huge and so comfy that I even slept well the first night there. There was Foxtel Premium Movie channel to keep me entertained as well as other choices. When the weather did improve, the huge pool and outdoor spa overlooking the ocean was the best. By the way the apartment had a private spa bath on the balcony overlooking the ocea.

We ended up with a roof top garden appartment with spectacular ocean views. Thanks to Naomi to other staff for making my dad's birthday fabulous!. The location was excellent - close to shops and the great boardwalk. The outlook/view was outstanding looking over the water and towards the Glasshouse mountains. We had two three-bedroom apartments, level 3 and level 8. The level 8 apartment was by far the better - better view, better furnishings and decor, bigger tv. absolutely loved our rooftop spa and the staff were awesome...!!! excellent location just park and walk...!!!will be our go to place from now on...!!!. The apartment was terrific. The location was spot on for going to the beach and the shopping. I liked that we were central to all we needed and it was great to use the pool as we did. Helpful staff, great location. Not much. The room stink of urine. The hotel provided us with 2bath towels for 4 nights. When I asked for towels fOr the pool I was advised I would have to hire them for $5 per towel. I declined. On checking out at 7.30 the desk was unattended. I rang and advised that I threw the room keys in the counter. The person I spoke to was rude to me. I travel for work a lot and stay in numerous cities and hotels. This was one of the worst for staff and the room. 4 star no way. 3 star at best. The weather!. I rang the week before to make sure the booking was what I needed, 2 bathrooms with one of the bathroom with a walk in shower for my elderly father, also I asked for an early check in and late check out, but when I arrived at 1.30pm, the room I was supposed to have was not ready, so I was given another room which later we found was not suitable due to the bathrooms. This was rather disappointing and it wasn't a great start. But.........(see what I liked). Nothing. There was nothing we didn't like there. I felt the mattresses were too hard for me therefore didn't sleep well. Thought we had two bathrooms as well so was a little disappointed. That I didn't book in for longer. The renovations were happening directly outside my window so could not sleep,test or use outside spa. No mention of $200 bond until we booked in despite full kitchen no pantry to store food (pantry style cupboard was locked). My elderly parents room number 44 looked out to street , not aware of this when booked, wasn't aware that both rooms wouldn't have the same aspect and charged the same for both Wine glasses in cupboard were not clean. nothing. No cover on the roof top entertainment area. Unuseable during bad weather. huge step into shower, small bar fridge, no informatin in room on local attractions and restaurants. gym was too small. not the cd player working & oven not clean - wall in kitchen moldy also - wiped it and then all clean - i have allegies - sinus. The rooms are a bit pokey & dark. Only had ocean views from the balcony and the far end of the lounge room. For 4 stars one does not expect a double sized bed. Kids bedroom had ridiculous window to hallway so both nights we were woken by their nightmares from freaking out about the stomping sounds up and down the hallway all night. 2 adults and 3 kids in a double bed = NO SLEEP! Wouldn't stay again unless I knew for certain I wouldn't get a stupid window in the kids room again and was placed higher up closer to front. That we played for a 2 bedroom Ocean view and could only see the ocean from our balcony we were really disappointed . Awkward access into shower. Lack of natural light in apartment. Ground floor unit with reduced privacy. That we didn't have any blankets in our bed.
