A couple of things could do with a lick of paint here and there, but we were entirely satisfied with our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, very hot water and lots of it. Nice to sit on the balcony. Everything we needed was within a short walking distance. Docs, hospitals, banks, eateries, and the city. Some of the patrons of the pub next door were a bit noisy, but not your problem and didn't keep us awake. Even the in-house entertainment on Wednesday night was more interesting th.

Staff were friendly & helpful. we liked how the staff made us feel welcome. they made the extra effort to accommodate our early arrival, which we were most thankfull. The upgrade to a lovely room and the friendliness of the late night staff. The guy on the desk (Bernie?) when we arrived at 11pm was excellent, efficient and friendly. Internet booking was fine, Hotel easy to find and had easy access to the lift for our luggage on arrival. Friendly and obliging staff. Price very competative. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only thing I would say is that we thought the prices on items in the bar fridge were extremely expensive and that was the reason we didn't take anything from there.
