The room was large, well equipped and very clean. We had one of the top floors on the side so the ceiling was very high....made the room feel very spacious. Staff was very accommodating and friendly and the location was perfect for our requirements. Even if you are not staying, do yourself a favour and pop in for a meal. The Lamb Shanks are to die for. Would happily opt to stay here again when next going to Brisbane.

The hotel staff was also friendly and he allowed us to place our baggages at a safe room while roaming about in the city prior to leaving for the airport. The hotel also has a phone to dial for the taxi which is very convenient for travellers who does not have a cellphone to book a taxi. The staff were very helpful and friendly.It is budget priced but served our needs very well, we were two mature ladies on a shopping/sightseeing trip to Brisbane and we were happy wiith our accomodation.Also the restaurant is 1st class.Thanks Ganesh. Peggy & Jan. The balcony and I liked the option of room service as had long day's doing business. The room was quite spacious for a single room, and the bed very comfortable. I like that you could buy a bottle of wine onsite. And the staff were mostly very lovely. Very attentive staff who upgraded us when they found out it was our wedding anniversary. Ended up in room on high floor with jacuzzi and balcony with a great view. Good cooking facilities in room too. very good location, comfortable. near central station and Queen street. convinient. Room is good. with small kitchen. and at outside the hotel is a garden, has free Wifi. The staff were accomadating,allowing me an early check in as my flight arrived early morning. Staff in the restaurant excellent, polite and pleasant to deal with. The roo9ms were e4xcelent, clean and well proportioined. The Resteraunt was value for money decnmt food. Staff were friendly obligining and helpfull. Not 5* luxury but if you look at the pictures they represent the hotel well. Good location for sightseeing and getting around town. No complaints. The cot I had ordered was not in the room when we arrived. The staff on the front desk were short. The car parking situation was ridiculous. You are charged $9 for parking but a park is not guaranteed nor is getting in or out of the park in less than an hour thanks to the stacking system and only one parking attendant. Asked in advance if room could be made available earlier than 2 and it was, with a little bit of enquiry from reception as we parked the car. The location and the very good value cooked breakfast car parking was generous and convenient. Walking distance to most thingsand front desk staff very helpful. The bathroom was quite small. The food is horrendous! As having long days doing business I preferred to order room service and did so twice. Big mistake.......the last night decided to purchase my own food from a deli. There was also a sewerage smell in the bathroom which was quite small and the shower not great. No in-house wireless although you could sometimes pick up the free city wireless. Wired internet cost 9 dollars per day. Television is always sparking. The air con was not working but that was not a problem and wellexplained by staff attending to it. Poor service in the Carpark, the intercom Phone didn't work, meaning I had to take my luggage to reception, to advise them I needed to park a Vehicle, both coming and going, and when uoiu're on an early flight being delayed by 10 - 15 mins is frustrating. - internet is so slow during my stay. The fact that as part of a long journey, I only had 12 hours there!. Food scraps left under the furniture, the third bed not made up and no third towel. Be wary when booking a cab to the airport and get a firm quote. We booked a cab via reception, having been advised it would cost about $45. However, we were charged $74!!. Room did require some extra cleaning of things that had been missed. Otherwise I was quite happy. Maybe a touch noisy. The 7am Fire Alarm wake up call because of burning toast. The room wasn't very clean, Melted chocolate under fridge door. No free WiFi. Parking available, though little tight getting in and out. Balcony door did nog close properly. whilst appreciating the economical parking and the excellent service of the parking staff, felt that we just could not pop in the car to go from a to b. Which is a silly thing to complain about!!. room a bit tired. need to climb up a bit from cbd when springhill loop not available. car parking is a problem. furniture old need replacing. Price. Really no dislikes. Nothing. Noise from hallway quite loud. Bit noisy. Could hear other guests from in our room quite clearly. advertise that they offer shuttle to the airport when you actually have to call the shuttle company and book yourself the hotel wont do it for you. Evening meal was expensive compared to restaurants in the mall. Don't order a steak from the hotel restaurant unless you like it cooked like shoe leather. the rooms were old the one I stayed in had mould in air conditioner. Bathroom was falling apart. Needs a bit of a refurb. Lots of things in room not working, no wifi or cable. Staff very helpful though. Little to no hot water at times TV reception much to be desired especially the ABC, initially very poor ,then none. building site noise which was very awful. When leaving my bags with hotel staff I did not feel they were adequately secure from theft. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful!. Not an extensive television coverage - only channel 7 - no reception for sport (football) or movies. Parking with a large car very tricky. Housekeeping could have been sharper some things were a bit tatty but the room was clean. Rooms are very run down.
