The Encore Express features 18 guest rooms with a mix of shared hall bath and private bath rooms.Guests enjoy rooms with 1 Double Bed or 1 Queen Bed. Shared bathroom guest rooms include all the same amenities found in our deluxe rooms. Showers and bathrooms are found in 4 convenient locations just down the hall from the bedrooms.
This hotel features clean, well maintained rooms that are the most reasonable in the San Francisco Union Square District.

The hotel is clean and beautiful while the staffs are polite and helpful. it was good...........................Location, clean. Decent bedding, comfortable bed, nice to have a sink in the room (sincewe stayed in the room with a shared bath).the location. It was nice that they upgraded me to the hospitality suit. Otherwise, I would be in a tiny room with a shared shower and bathroom. The room was great! But the hotel's website does not say that this is a hostel! I would have stayed somewhere else had I known.all reviews »
there was a big problem about parking.................... Because the hotel is new and located in a different building (a coupleof blocks away) from the hotel you check in at (Nob Hill Hotel), thefront desk staff at the Nob Hill Hotel did not know much about EncoreExpress and you could not telephone directly from your room. Also, thereis no air conditioning in this hotel so it did get a little warm but youcan open the window.Had to check in at a hotel a block away.the wifi advertised was not up and running. The check-in was very long. They didn't allow check in until 3:00, andthere was a line of people waiting. I waited 40 minutes just to checkin. The room itself had a very strange smell; we couldn't keep thewindows open--there were no screens on the windows. The bathroom wasalso not very clean, and needed a fan for ventilation.the bed and pillows were too soft. There was NO HOT WATER! I was there for two three nights and was able to take 1 hot shower. This was horrible. I was not able to call anyone about this. .
