Excellent location for anyone who has business at the United Nations or around mid-town. The hotel's historic atmosphere is very appealling. I liked it all! It was really great. The hotel looks beautiful and the staff is really polite. The rooms look amazing.Ease of access to Central Station and Midtown Mahatton, comfortable room and great beds. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the location was very good too.
all reviews » Very clean and comfortable hotel with an excellent value for money. Turistic visit to NY. We were only there for 2 nights, but we had a good room which was clean and comfortable. It was in a good position for catching tour buses etc. The staff were helpful, and knowledgable about local attractions.We didn't eat in the hotel, but found it easy to find alternative restaurants nearby. I had a wonderful stay at the Tudor Hotel NY. The staff were very nice and helpful when I needed. When I had a problem with my bathtub they sent a service guy up in just a few minutes, even thou it was a saturday evening.Very charming and romantic! Comfortable beds! Great location!. The atmosphere and location of the hotel were wonderful. The rooms were clean, well decorated, and quite cute.It was in a good location, not far from times square and grand central station making it easy to travel to see all the sights. The windows are a bit old. Everything else is really great!. Why charge for using the computers? A lot of hotells nowdays have free internetacces or 30min free internet/day. Business center charged for internet, which is complementary at most other hotels. I understand charging for it in your room, but in the business center?. The rooms were a bit on the small side. The room was much smaller than the one illustrated on the vittual tour on the website that i booked with so was disappointed about that however it was adequate for our few days there. There was a coffee maker in the room but no kettle to make tea.We stayed twice at the Tudor within a week. The first time in one of the newly decorated suites which was great, The second time in an older suite which was still nice but is in need of the upgrading. We had trouble with internet. For 2 days we had interrupted service for which we had to call in technical assistance and consequently had far less than the 24 hrs access for which we were paying - no compensation with the final bill. Very disappointing, as internet access was one of the reasons for staying here!. no mini fridge. The staff were quite rude. that you have to pay for wireless when you spend that sort of money wireless should be free. when a holiday inn express can do it for $120 a night. Supior room was a little bit on the small side. My room was probably forgotten and not cleaned on one day during my 10 day stay. dysfunctional television. No free internet . No mini bar. rooms a bit cramped, carpet needed better cleaning but generally clean and comfortable. bed small for two. they charge for all,. Classic decoration; no free wifi acces at room. Cost of making international calls from the hotel room were far too expensive. Feel we were 'ripped' off, as these calls amounted to c$200 USD.refregrator was closed. Rooms were in need of refurbishment. Also, on arrival we had to ask them to reclean the room.The staff were extremely slow and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Almost every single thing in the hotel was bad except the doorman and theman who kept my luggage very nice people, reception not friendly at all.
