Very freindly and out of the way but close enough for all activities. Excellent site, near central park, anything you need is there. hospitality. I loved the lounge in the Broadway Hostel and Hotel because everybody used to stay together in lounge watching movies every night, eating popcorn and hotdog for free during the weekends, wireless internet also for free, the staff is so great and they told me nice tips and advices about NYC, I made so many friends from all over the world!!!. all reviews »
good human customer relationship, trust and security of client property. felt secured in all spheres. The staff was friendly, efficient, helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and comfortable.The friendly helpful staff and the location. how friendly your staff is, the common room is a great place to stay and talk or spend some time. The common area, though very pleasant and attractive was small, so not very useable at key times...morning and early evening. No kitchen or utensils. There are, however some excellent and reasonably priced diners very nearby.The bathrooms, could not always get a hot shower. no the hotel was good for the price and location. There seemed to be a stream of booking-in errors, everybody was sorted eventually but not completely happy with the arrangement. Noisy bed, dodgy tap in bathroom and no mirror!!!. The entrance was not as picture, neither were any of the rooms. The website stated the hotel was idian theme, when i did not see one warmly coloured wall. Our room was white and so was the bathroom. The water took a long time to heat up in the shower- had to wait 15 mins. charging for luggage storage, and when you can check in. Just the beds. Yes, no privacy whatsoever. Also, bathrooms got dirty with not enough cleaning between uses. Bedding on bunks was old and scratchy. Maybe the difference between entrance/lounge and rooms is a bit big.. Makes the rooms more disappointing while they are quite ok. Plumbing in bathrooms was always stopped up. My mattress was not a mattress, but rather a spring set meant to be the support for a small bunkbed mattress.Although this is an hostel, I found my room too crowded. the over amount of stuff that was just wondering at the lobby.I do not like cooling system but in the summer time I think it is very usefull. The staff were very abrupt and unhelpful. Problems with check-in, lack of information about the reservation, too few bathrooms, receptionists are not well-informed, not professional, general organisational mess, old elevator, very noisy A/C, uncomfortable beds, no hooks or shelves/cupboards in rooms. It was very noisy. In the bedrooms (due to banging of the central heating and the very young guests coming in at all hours) and in the communal rooms (due to "action packed" movies and same noisy quests).Really bad mattresses, few showers, restrooms easily not in service, dirtiness. Hygiene should be improved.The room was clean enough. EVERYTHING!!!That's the the worse hostel I have ever been.They could noteven explained how the cost of the room is charge (I.E. tax).Theflooring is in such a bad state.The door of showers on my floor couldnot be locked from time to time.The tap is not attached to the sink inone of them.I Have been travelling in Europe, ah well, I hope this onedoes not reflect Hostels in us...we got bed bugs. definently not staying again.
