The apartment was very nice. It was appropriately size and there was a lot of room. It also came fully equipped. Check in was also very straight forward. The apartment is also located in a very nice area. It was a couple of blocks from time square where I spent most of my time.

This 2 bed apartment has everything you could want on a trip to NY, very central, very spacious lots of spare towels and bedding, very comfortable beds including the sofa bed plus free laundry services and a dishwasher!.

Next to Empire State building - in the middle of Manhattan! I stayed here with my daughter but there is enough space for 4 people.
Location is good. There has subway line 6 near by. You can from 34 street all way up for shopping. Empire Building is very close.

I didn't run into problems, but building attendant only available regular business hours.

Noise from the outside.
The downside of renting an apartment is the lack of a hotel lobby / reception when you want to ask some questions - how to get somewhere / where the grocery store is etc.
Very little natural light, no vent or fan in the bathroom.
Poor ventilation in the room. It's not possible to open window slightly. When you open window it's too cold, when close, it is stuffy.

Simple basic cleaning goods were not supplied such as dish detergent, sponges, paper towels and dish towels. Quite unusual for a furnished apartment.

you call these serviced apartments, but they get serviced only every 5 days. That means through a week long trip there's no housekeeping to clean the room, and bathroom, change linen and towels. That's disgusting and all potential guests should know this. Serviced apartments should get serviced everyday. And in 32nd Park Ave Suites there's even a daily $14 service charge.
Starring at horrible gray buildings from window,no nice view , only walls!.
This is a typical depressing NYC hotel for under US$150. Cramped hotel lobby, moody staff, freezing cold rooms (in winter), 40-year old furniture and the like.
The apartment was dark, did not look like picture advertised. Did not sleep for the 6 days i was there due to compressor noise right outside the bedroom window. Apartment had a rather depressing feel about it. I did complain about the noise but no room swap was offered.
i reserved it for 4 night and i couldn't sleep cuz there was a manufacture besid the hotel that works 24/7 :s.
