Great deal on booking made the stay justifiable:) traveling through, long distance, high stress... We were extremely well taken care of, particularly by Christian at the check in desk. He even remembered my name 2 days later when I came back to pick up luggage they let us store there... And I even had a dramatically different haircur! a few snags along the way; the staff handled them with confidence and ease. I've stayed at this location before and will definitely stay there again. super comfor.

Large bathroom with many towels and great housekeeping department that kept the complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner and body cream in abundance. Very helpful and efficient staff when needed - from reception to the concierge service, everyone was pleasant, friendly and made an effort. Made the stay highly enjoyable. Free Acura town car for up to 5 miles. The hotel was great, especially for young people, and I would stay at the W Hollywood again. The position was awesome so close to everything walk to the walk of fame! The staff were so great and friendly especially our concierge Chris & Brittney they did an exceptional job helping us to go to the best places they were a wealth of info!!. I loved it, they treated me and my husband like kings and queens...going back really soon... I celebrated my Bday on Memorial Day Weekend at the NightClub Drais and it was the best... Got a table and a bottle for a great price... I LUV WHOLLYWOOD... We were upgraded to the e-wow suite and wow it was! The room was fabulous, staff friendly and helpful and the location was convenient. Best hotel room I ever had with amazing views and rock-star luxury!. The location right on the main hollywood Blvd, the beautiful room, the view of the hollywood sign from the room, the posh hotel, the buzzing nightlife in the hotel, my husband luved the Spa too.. This is one the best hotels I have ever stayed in, the impact when we walked into our suite was glorious - it smelled great and was playing serene music, the spa services were excellent. Great hotel in a great location! Food and bars are great, staff friendly, rooms extremely comfortable. Great transport options with the subway directly under the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous ... You felt right at home. Cortez was an amazing young man who made you feel right at home. Beautiful peaceful and thrilling. Bliss products in room. The bed. No free coffee or tea in bedroom. Would not recommend a room facing the Metro Station or towards Hollywood BLVD because of the noise from the club. The hotel was great and there was not much I did not like. For an amazing room in a great hotel some basics were a little disappointing - although not a game changer! The tv channels are limited, hairdryer shabby and the towels a little small and rough but I am being picky and the room was so fantastic I guess I was surprised the simple things weren't included. A bit on the steep end, but still fab as u step out into hollywood... Nothing, except I wasn't there long enough to explore the hotel properly. Nothing to complain about. When we arrived after a long difficult journey there was no bellman and we had to carry our own bags. Ordinarily that wouldnt be a problem but for a hotel this expensive.... Can be a bit noisy/busy on weekends with the pool club etc. Stay was too short, could have stayed one week and still craved more. room service never arrived so we had to go out at 11pm for looking something to eat. Carparking is a little pricey $40us per day. In-room snacks & drinks are exorbitant as usual. Only valet parking. Food and drinks are quite pricey!. Needs to have free wifi. They charged me extra for my last night but there was no such thing on the website. the high prices and paying for parking. It should be free to guess who stay at hotel. The misleading spectacular view up charge to see an alley. Blocked toilet. I did not like that I was charged $36 for parking and when I booked that hotel is said nothing about the fee. It was a surprise to me I would have just liked a heads up. The parking price is exorbitant especially since parking garages around the hotel and street parking is much cheaper and doesn't require to much extra effort. The hotel rooms are worn, the beds are uncomfortable and the linen needs to be replaced... The towels literally scratched us!! The water pressure was horrible, and maid service did nothing but empty the trash and make the beds. The pool close at 6pm, the snooty staff. -loud in hallways late at night. Staff not helpful at all. Too many people around. Paper thin walls. Could hear normal conversations fro both adjacent rooms. ALL NIGHT!. Keys to room/elevator didn't work most of the time. Air conditioner didn't work 2 of my 3 nights. Had to request a robe as they weren't in room. My room was overlooking driveway which was very noisy at night because it's a party hotel and clientele . Of all the issues at the hotel , the security woman chose to tell us to move our bags to the other side of driveway when we were waiting for our car--- ridiculous. W is supposed to be Whatever Whenever but W hollywood is not.. No room service at 5.00 pm ( the kitchen was closed) not icecreams in the evening ( because they were melted) After all is just like any other hotel but much more expansive. Terrible experience and customer service.
