This very low profile hotel is the best kept secret in hollywood. At first sight it doesn't seem to be the best choice. Yet in my opinion it is. I've been around la for a while in the various neighborhoods and in many different hotels. And the "Super 8" without the slightest of doubt was the best offer quality-pricewise. I could see the "HOLLYWOOD" sign right out my window as well as the huge houses perched in the hollywood hills.The bed was perfectly comfortable and had inmaculate linnens. In .
all reviews » In fact, this is a good price in relation to the quality. In the Neighbourhood, it might be the best (I've been in most budget hotels in Hollywood). Free Parking en centrally located. Wifi is strong en good enough to watch Netflix ;-) Breakfast is ok, enough choise and it's free!. Staff were friendly and bed was comfortable. Great location, a short walk from Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard. We hired a car and there was always room to park in the parking lot, at no extra charge. Would definitely stay here again. Dated decor on the verge of being just shabbish. Maybe a little bit more expensive than what I would expected. Very small breakfast area. My tv did not work so well. The rooms could use updating. Lack of seating area at breakfast. Area seemed a little rough to begin with, but was OK. Breakfast is very basic. Parking has limited space. Sheets had holes in them, not sure if well maintained. Parking sucks. Fruit in the morning would be nice. The value was too high for the services they provide, no luggage storage was available for early check ins or after check out, the wifi speed and connection was terrible, the breakfast was poor. No screen on window, furniture needs to be updated really bad and the bed was so hard our body's were hurting so bad the next day. No towels upon arrival. Had to wait awhile but couldn't wait had to leave. The parking is really bad as well they have there own lot but there is a bar under super 8 so we had to park on the street which u didn't like. I don't recommend this hotel at all. There was not enough parking!. they didn't respect the price. The Maintance and cleanliness needs to be improved. The room really smelled bad, it looked nothing like the pictures online. BAD!!!! I defenetly would not recommend it. Poorly service, bad location, expensive. The lobby smell like Indian food (very uncomfortable), elevator does not work, homeless people spend the night in the stars. I would never stay in that Motel again.
