We stayed at this hotel in July 2013 for 4 nights. It was myself, hubby and our 13 year old daughter. We really enjoyed our stayed at this hotel. The location is great, you can walk along Hollywood Boulevard to the 'strip' and it was only 10min drive to Universal Studios which we visited during our stay. You can also see the Hollywood sign in the distance. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very spacious, plenty of room for the 3 of us. It wa.
all reviews » I really enjoyed the time I had spent getting away with my husband. The front manager was very friendly and made us feel comfortable to be staying here.. I also LOVED the location of this hotel, there were so many fast food restaurants less than a mile away, banks, grocery stores, starbucks Yogurtland, and more! I like the short distance we traveled to Universal City Walk.. The area is decent.. Breakfast includes: Cereal, Donuts, Orange Juice and Coffee.. The King sized Beds are VERY CLEAN and . The hotel is really good for the budget. The blocks around arent the nicest but not bad, and the location in general is really good. The breakfast was good for me (donuts, crosaints, fruits, yogurt, cereals, milk, drinks). You take it to your room or the swimming pool. The room had a microwave, was very big and we had no noises at night. I would recommend this hostel, specially the price - quality relationship. I actually did not like I loved the hotel, from the the room to the friendly m& helpful, friendly service that I was wellcomed to la, the entire team there were a credit to the hotel managment, and thank you to facilitate for me to reserve with such a great compony, trust me I will be passing on yours as well as the hotel's names to all my friends & relatives. Nice with a pool. Groserystore and mc donald 4 min walk away. Hollywood boulevard only ca 30 min walk. But if you have only stayed at 5 star hotel before, you have to lower your expectations! Remember you are in Hollywood and look at the price!!. clean & safe little hotel. supermarket & eateries at close walking distance. walkind distance to amoeba music store on sunset blvd, which was the biggest cd/dvd shop with the best range that i have ever seen, make sure to pay it a visit with a full wallet. onsite free parking. short drive to the windy & beautifull hollywood hills & the posh beverly hills. Loved the location closer to the Train station and had many food options nearby. About 20-25 mins walk towards Hollywood walk of fame but if everyone is young.. that walk is barely anything. Close to the Hollywood sign too. Great value for the money! Clean with a really nice pool. Internet access included and all in great friendly staff. Having three beds in the room was a bonus as there was 1 couple and two guys. There was a pull out sofa bed which we realised when we got in the room. Although the prices were quite expensive it was in a convenient location of Hollywood. The room was quite a big size aswel which is good if there is a few people. perfect location if you plan to visit hollywood area, the walk of fame, universal studio, griffith park are all easy to reach. just across the street there is the subway station which makes your trip around much easier. it's nice they also provide breakfast. Location was very central to everything 10 minutes to universal studios 5 minutes Hollywood boulivord and walk of fame 15 minutes to 6 flags etc etc... So clean and tidy with wide screen T.V... Would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.. The staff were very helpful and it made it easy for us to get around and see a lot with there local knowledge. The shuttle was a great and handy thing as well .It was good to get to the subway,shopping and restaurants. The staff was friendly. It all. A friend highly recommended this hotel. I was surprised reading very good and bad reviews about them. Well, after staying for 5 nights, I think I know why. They have different managers on different days, 2 out of the 5 managers were exceptionally friendly and helpful and patient, the other 3 were inpatient & rude. I dropped my ring into the drainage, the manager didn't care and kept replying that nothing could be done; finally I got to talk to the owner, a nice lady, she helped get the plum. Cleaning ladies were friendly and confidence, we could leave our key at the front desk so we could share it with the rest of the party. Location excellent just walking distance of the Metro and Bus stops. I liked the location definitely very close to the metro as i didn't want to drive. Very easy to get to and there was a shopping centre nearby so that was good as well. Very affordable hotel in an expensive city. Large clean rooms and a well kept swimming pool. The staff weren't very kind when it came to leaving your bags at the front desk they basically said they were not responsible for watching one's luggage. The area is not very nice but it's OK if you move around during the day and go back to the hotel only for a quick dip in the pool and to sleep. small parking lot and more far from the rooms than what would be expected for a motel style lodge, where cars usually stay in front of the rooms. cleaning could be better and i think no one cleans under the beds! the shower was not very good as well, with scattered holes, what seemed even worse because of the low pressure of the water. So, taking a bath at the end of a exhausting tourist day was not very relaxing as I would like it to be. The towels were dirty there were hairs on it from the cleaning staff. Was pretty gross. Other it was very noicy at night and especially in the morning. Staff was not very attentive. Breakfast could be better, but generally was fine (coffee, cornflakes with milk, bagels, fruit). The staff is not very warm-hearted to guests. Most seriously, the wifi speed is quite slow compared with other two hotels I lived during my trip. Workers were renovating the part of the hotel we were staying in. Some workers got in our room but we didn't get any notice of the hotel staff. The hotel staff was not really amenable and didn't seem to care about their customers. The hotel was a bit run down & the beds/pillows were not very comfortable.
