The Hotel was a great Inn. The staff (Chris) was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and very cozy. Includes a big tv with free video on demand! The bed is super comfy. The breakfast is simple but served in a very cozy room. Don't expect a huge hotel - it's a motel - and a very nice one. Would recommend. Chris went out of his way again and again to assist me with all of my needs, which were many. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the shower head was up high on the wall (it's a big deal when your 6' 4") and had lots of pressure (love that too) the room was very well insulated, a.k.a. Quiet and warm.

This was a great location to access Venice Beach and downtown la. Will definitely staff there again. Great value for money with spacious and very clean room; felt like a safe place to stay; ample parking spaces; close to Venice Beach, LA Airport; and Santa Monica Pier. I would stay here again if I return to L.A. But it was free, so there you go. I didn't like the smoking area. My room was right in front of it and it made my room smell like smoke. Parking space was tight and small in hotel location. Love the location but found that it was hard getting out of the hotel due to it being on a busy street. The rooms definitely need an uplift and the contental breakfast was great but the same all the time. I had breadcrumbs in my bed on the last night. I could not understand how they got there, we never ate in the room. Booked a smoking room and didn't get one so had to go out on porch of hotel everytime. room felt a bit dark. My room was smack bang on the street so traffic noise was loud!. Not quite what I expected of Ramada branding. No discount for regular customers. Noise from the street; Jacuzzi was quite old. the room needed a thorough cleaning job. there were cob webs in the corners. the carpet was vacuumed but there was still dust bunnies along the walls and your feet/socks were black from walking on it. Far too expensive for what it offers and the location (30 min walking from the beach, so not very close).
