The couple who own this motel are anxious to please and very proud of their motel. They have painted and spruced up this older property to be very inviting and comfortable. My room was spacious and well appointed. Its furniture and decor demonstrate good taste. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Very good roomy bathroom. Location on the Westside can't be beat and the value to price is perfect. The whole experience spoke of integrity backed up by hard work. Needless to say I am highly imp.
all reviews » The hotel had a courtyard where you drive in and park at the door, that is easy and the room was shielded from traffic noise. Nice clean room with all the necessities, a micro, a small area for fixing coffee and maybe breakfast. Near In n Out burger, Starbucks, Subway etc so easy to get a quick meal or a coffee. Very nice staff, big room, very comfortable, near beach ...inside of room surprisingly nice considering the age of the motel. Huge flat screen tvs, I think it's an excellent place for budget travelers to stay, don't be put off by the older appearance of the outside. Its great value for money. The room is nice and clean. Location is good. Free wifi. Nice big tv. Bus stop is close if u need though for LA is better to rent a car!. Room features k bed, refrigerator, mw, ironing board/iron, kitchen counter/sink, coffee maker, free wifi, newly remodeled room and bathroom, clean, fresh paint. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very efficient at cleaning the rooms every day. It was great having access to a mini fridge and microwave. The motel provided the exact value for the money I payed. The room included a microwave oven and a frigobar which were useful. Friendly staff, affordable rates, and conveniently located across the street from Starbucks and an Albertsons grocery store. A lot of things : the good location , the manager was kind , i loved the room , it was very clean and spacey .. nicer than we expected. Was clean. good air conditioner. big TV. The check in desk looked like it was a cashier at a bank from the 1900´s, with a big glass pane and you have to put your card in a little hole under it. It is not very nice, but maybe they have had some bad experiences. They hesitated a bit about my Amex card but accepted it eventually. Noisy AC but I turned it off. I would have liked to pay less than 100 dollars per night, but you really can't beat that considering how close it is to Venice beach. The infrastructure is a bit low. You could feel a bit insecure. Noisy heater, tub couldn't fill up w water for bath (drain didn't have a stopper), ice machine out of service. Didn't provide complimentary breakfast, but it was ok. No breakfast .. bed was hard as a rock. no pool. No breakfast served. the check out time which is 11am. Location wasn't the best. Nothing. -The mattress was on the soft side. -TV reception was fuzzy. old Motel sign on the roof, and exterior - made the hotel seem very cheap and of questionable clientele which was absolutely the opposite - it was very pleasant inside!. The bed was not that comfy... oh well everything else was fine. A little run down maybe but fine for the price. Location Room Size. No clock in room. No blanket until I requested one. Easy chair uncomfortable. No computer for guest use. I could find a better motel than this with the same or lower price. Service is awful, booked a room for 3, got 1 big bed... Insane! Towels bitted up!.
