The Whole staff right from entrance to reception desk till housekeeping to room service are very cooperative, especially on entrance for valley parking there are indian sardars (singh) with their traditional turbans and they spoke in their native language is very nice. Byblos Hotel has very nice night Chemellion Club with English & Arabic music and nice DJs. Dubai Metro Taxi always available in parking. Very nice location of Dubai and heart of Tecom.
all reviews » the staff were helpful and friendly. when i wanted to get a hire car they were happy to help with finding me one. the room was large and clean though a little cold but you have control over the A/C so can turn it down. There are plenty of plug sockets with international sockets so no need for a travel adapter. TV is aplenty. Food at the breakfast buffet was fresh and had a good spread. Room size was okay, facilities are not that versatile but it is a business hotel and the whole purpose is having a place to stay. the place is 3 mins walk from Metro station. Surroundings are more than great. Mini Markets, restaurants etc, a good parking area. all in all it was a good experience, i would repeat it if i go on business again. The hotel staff was helpful, the room was comfortable and, generally speaking, we felt good during our stay at the hotel. In addition, both the complimentary shuttle to the beach, as well as the hotel location, near the Metro station "Dubai Internet City" were very convenient for our purposes. Well I must tell the world about this beautiful place it's the nicest place The best value for money I will never stay in any other place I will recommended it to every one I know It's better than 5 star hotel. My stay was comfortable with reasonable good service considering the tariffs. The location of the hotel is good within walking distance to metro station and other facilities. The design and the services were good...the room was clean and comfortable however you can hear the noisy coming from the nighbour rooms...My room was at the 7th floor and the dj was unable to be heared.. The room was nice, clean and spacious, with lots of natural light. Comfortable bed. I was on a low floor, so no noise from the night club. Great location, and the shuttle service is very convenient. In our view, as a minimum, Internet access should be included in the room price nowadays. In addition excursions offered by this hotel were very expensive. I love it and I will make sure Tell the world obout it. The mini bar was not stocked and there was no iron or ironing board in the room. A paid Internet connection which was very bad factor to live in such a hotel..15 Aed per hour and the login access is very complicated... No one to show me the way to my room on check in. Bathtub not very clean. I am becoming a regular and use the same online method of booking. Would appreciate having some sort of loyalty scheme or a noting that I am not a first time visitor. Light controls and AC not cooling enough. The nightclub at 16th floor played way to loud music each night from 11pm to 3am. Nothing at all I was very happy there. food from room service was poor breakfast was poor rom service very slow. The only minor negative was the uncomfortableness of the lounge chairs. The door did not have a security look. The mini fridge did not work. Valet parking seemed to be short staffed. I had to go and find someone to take my car, This was the same everytime I returned to the hotel during my stay. The towels in the bathroom needed replacing. takes a while to find and to get off SZR or Al Khail road due to it being at the heart of an urbanised area. Also I did not appreciate the fact that on a particular day when I was not feeling very well and did not have breakfast and mentioned this to the front-office upon check-out, I was not allowed a refund. Nothing particular. Chameleon club was closed... Really a shame! The big pink chameleon was the reason why I choose Byblos in the first place... Stuff not fairly, I was waiting for a long time for chick in, another people pass faster, very bad stuff and not welcome. nothing... Would like to see them adopt a frequent vistor policy and offer discount cards to those who stay at their hotel often. Charging for internet and breakfast. Pool too small. Elevator can be slow at times. Nothing. the noise at night. Laundry. long time waiting for the lift. Once I arrived, they mentioned my room was given to some other guest who has extended his stay, which I made a big issue of. So as a result, they offered me other hotel to stay in for the first night and free complementary breakfast for the rest 2 nights I stayed with them. the room is not well sound proof and elevators to comute up and down were very slow and time taking. We didnt realise that we had two additional charges to pay at the hotel when we checked out, one was a Municipality fee, and secondly a Rooms Service charge, which added 10% to our amount payable, maybe we didnt read this in the small print somewhere. I had to pay 100 AED per day for wireless internet. Loby area it's very small and old. Internet service was by prepaid card and kept dropping Mini bar was empty whole trip. the hotel didn't provide FREE internet service. sound of base music in my room at 6pm on arrival, which was louder on my return at 2am from a night out. Good juob I was tired! (level 15 room). there is no toothbrush in the bathroom and the baby cot seems not dirty and old. I asked for an iron twice and they still didn't have it, when I asked the third time they said they don't have any :s. free wifi was unavailable in common area and the fee of it was very very expensive. Christmas music playing all night in the corridors... why? Also on 12th floor you can hear music from the club - not nice if you're trying to sleep. House keeping cleaned my room, but didn't replace the used towels or cups. They just folded the towels to look like new and just rinsed out used cups and did not replace for new ones. Spa employee totally unfriendly, more interested on their ipod than guest. The staff are not fantastic. The hotel club doesn't make it family friendly at all.... Prices for family visit. everything was perfect.
