When we went to the hotel and asked if we may sit by the pool for three hours while awaiting our flight we were told the cost was 75 Dhrms each. Possible suggestion would be to allow use of facilities on stop overs to previous guests.the swimming pool is small, but yet it wont change my mind of booking again in this good hotel. From the pictures I saw, I had expected the club room to have different rooms and a big bath tub or jaccuzi. I still struggle to find what was so special about that. I have stayed in smaller and cheaoer hotels in South Africa with a parlour and kitchenette.despite emailing in advance about needing a cot, it was not set up in our room on arrival (1am). also the airport transfer did not check to see that our flight had been delayed, and gave up waiting for us - meaning we had to call the hotel and wait to be collected - not much fun at 2am in the morning. lights were to low in the room. We were there for a wedding party so the make up artist and hair dresser had a hard time because of the dim lights!. I guess the taxi service should be the weak link in this hotel. Maybe my comments is not accurate since this is my 1st trip to Dubai, nevertheless the stay was make enjoyable by the helpful staff. No Place for a light meal / snack. when i arrived at the hotel ,the receotionist told me that my booking is canclled although i have made the reservation well in advance.luckily,he found me a room at time of check-in. The cost of our accommodation was excellent, however we did find the food and drink especially expensive.My room was very small compare to the room I got on my last stay. price is high. housekeeping entered the room while DND sign was on the door and i had been sleeping.....at the same time i got a phone call most likely from the reception where there was no answer from the other end and just hung up in my face. Furniture and curtains are old style and need to be changed. Price of hotel, and cost of Internet. There was some construction going on in the hotel during my stay which made it a little bit noisy in the early mornings when I was sleeping.Pool area was a bit small. Towels perhaps less than perfect!. no taxis available. Electrical appliances were troublesome. Kettle and hair dryer caused problems.
