We stayed at the Executive Suite on the 7 floor - very spacious, with 3 balconies - you get a great view! I liked how the wardrobes are separated from the bedroom, it is very convenient and there is also a dressing table with a mirror. The resort is located in a beautiful green area and has 3 swimming pools - 2 for kids and 1 Olympic, plus a play area. I definitely recommend this place for families with young children - these facilities keep them busy the whole day! Food was good - we dined at.
all reviews » 1- First a big thank u to Danat & Booking mangmnts because they did not charge me for a booking that I did by mistake the week before my stay. 2- This visit was my second stay at the hotel and I enjoyed it a lot ... The kids too. Actually they asked for the same hotel again 3- Great pools. For kids and Adults (Olympic). 4- Nice facilities. 5- Close to Shopping malls .. by car of course that is. 6- The friendliness of Staff. 7- The rooms are spacious. Al Ain is a beautiful oasis city and this hotel is a perfect place to stay, being close to the town centre with many attractive facilities, such as the Olympic-sized swimming pool. The service levels and friendliness of the staff were top class. The rooms, beds, balcony all very comfortable. Great pool and play area for kids, very relaxing, park facing room was lovely over looking the greenery. Restaurants a little over priced for what they were. I would defiantly go Again my daughter ( 4 yr old) did not want to leave. I liked the staff, they upgraded us to mazyed suite where we reserved standard room, the suite was spacious with living room, dining room, kitchen and bed room. Good facilities and variuety of places to eat. This is my favourite hotel to stay we have stayed there since it first opened in Al Aln in the 1980s Now it is run by Danat it is even better ,. The staff were very attentive, helpful and efficient and did a lot to resolve a situation where I had lost my mobile phone. Your staff were very professional and personal. They made us feel very welcome and extra special as it was my birthday. second time in this hotel and this time was way better. Staff at the desk was very friendly and room was very nice. the room was amazingly beautiful and the first staff that assisted us in the check in was amazingly helpful. This is my Fourth time because of the big swimming pool and the children facility, my children love it. The calm, the installations and the rooms are the three aspects more important from my point of view. Hotel was away better that Rotana when it comes to stuff and facilities. very quiet and peaceful. the swimming pool. the palms around the hotel the green around the hotel the food and many other. No slippers in the rooms. 1-Even though I checked out at 11:15 am It took exactly 40 minutes to checkout and get my luggage. 2- No water hose in the toilet. Expensive wifi. Dinner in evening was for a group of us and service was poor. Some never git drinks or coffee!. Well I, m not impressed with the horse and jockey pub restaurant as it smells of smoke and is in need of a refurb although the staff and food are good. Options for purchasing breakfast separately from the breakfast buffet were extremely limited especially for vegetarians. For a hotel as this I feel guests should not have to pay for internet service, it should be free. the night reception staff was a bit rude which made my friend and I extened our stay in Al Ain in a total different hotel rather than in this hotel which we liked. expensive breakfast,. The wifi is not free, but in Emirates this situation is normal. wifi was not available. Bathroom could be much better for 5 stars hotel. Bathroom in room r not proper.der is no drainage if v take bath water remain on floor.toilet dont hav hand shower wic alwayz giv uncomfortable feeling. unfortunately that day hotel was so busy (FIFA world cup football).but we could see iran's tim. It's a bit old rusty hotel. hotel design is old, everything is well kept but still reflects old fashion,. Not much option for eating before 7.30pm which is not ideal for a family with a young baby. I didnt find it as a 5 *. Maybe cuz of the bldg as it look old. Our room was directly above the nightclub and so on the first night we we were kept awake until 3am by the sound and vibrations of loud music. This must be a regular occurence and I am surprised that the hotel did not ask us whether we would mind this when we checked-in. Hotel should get renovation. But its far from the city. The breakfast must be more kinds in it. No free internet. Was every things fine. smoking smell everywhere noising and you can hear the sounds from the next room to you. Receptionist didn't allocate proper room first hut after calling the. Again, they shifted us to right room our choice. Rooms are old but ok. No cold water in shower. Complained 3 times about hot water in both taps. Got a reply that its due to temperature outside and nothing can be done!!!! So it means my 3 year old son cannot take shower for 2 days. I had to buy bottled water for him. Again reply was " sorry we dont have a chiller". No chiller plant in a 5 star??? Hard to beleive. Dont think of going there during summer. You may get boiled water in taps.. Nothing. They forget to put towels and bath robe and we called them 3 times but did not bring after waiting half an hour. 1) expensive 2) we were not comfortable , every time we enter the hotel because of the security . Regarding of hosting football teams !! 3) the bath room is little bit small . 4) The TV was not working. Little wait to check in. did not cater well for children, staff not very friendly or helpful, too much shisha smoking at the poolside, why don't they have a designated area for this. room not very clean. Required two different front-desk staff members to answer why I was initially charged the standard hotel and not the rate booked via my letsbookhotel.com reservation. Our luggage was lost in check-in and I had to look around myself to find them. Overall hotel decor is out dated compared to other popular hotel resorts. Nothing to complint.
