From the moment we stepped out of the car when we arrived the staff were friendly & welcoming. Each day of our 5 day stay, they all greeted us with smiles and called us by name. In particular, the front of house Manager, Mr Ahmed Gaafar, Reception staff Sharon, Elena, Valerya to name but a few, went that extra mile to make our stay as special as it could be. They are a credit to the hotel.
all reviews » The hotel opening at the end of 2012 and is in its "soft start up" phase gradually receruiting and training staff and opening up facilities. By the summer of 2013 it should be up to speed. The staff are very hrlpful and friendly and the food at the buffet resaurant (the only one open) was excellent. Hotel is nicely designed; simple but so elegant. Room size is specious,very comfortable & clean. Provided facilities & services very good. Friendly staff and at your disposal. Flexible policies. The staff responsiveness & strong customer service attitude, hotel atmosphere and interior decor. The sea view. The breakfast was lovely. Hotel's ambience, intererior quality, very comfortable bed and excellent quality bed linens and comfortable pillows, wll appointed bathroom. It is very nice, clean and quite hotel. Still new. Just the sea view from the rooms. Staff are friendly. Nothing. Regretably there were ongoing "finishing touches" taking place inside & out, although the work on the beach was outside of their control. When the work is eventually finished this hotel will be an ideal relaxation venue and we will have no hesitation in making a return trip. Most of the restaurants and other facilities are not yet open. Didn't notice a clock in the room!!; my room was not provided with DND or HK.Service signs (but it is not a big deal as we weren't disturbed). No express laundry service. The room was much smaller than I expected although it is supposed to be a deluxe room with sea view. That was a bit disappointing. Ongoing construction on the beach (this will stop soon), the room could have been bigger. Noise from outside construction work. I think the swimingpool is quite below standards for such new resort. small fly coming from bathroom drainage. The room was very small The swimming pool is not deep. The Hotel needs some Facilities. Pool. some rooms are noisy due to electrical generator and running motor at roof. None. Hotel is excellent rooms need the following to improve the quality . 1) W.C on the bathroom needs to be cleaner especially the water color which is brown. 2) t.v channels needs to change faster. Thank you. The bed was uncomfortable since most of us had cervical spine medical concerns. The breakfast can additionally have east asian cuisine. Recommend more indian vegeterian cuisine as well. the swimming pool is always in the shadow, baby swimming pool never gets sun shine and it's always windy in the corner where kids pool is; somtimes staff is too slow - we asked for adapter several times - never got it :) building process right next to the hotel seems to never end :) too loud sometimes, floor 5 and up - too much noise from the roof. staff skills, beach,. Staff not experiered. Rude untrained, unprofessional staff. When I was seated with my family twenty minutes before closing time, they were banging the plates, pushing things around and generally making a ruckus! Horrible dining experience. And for a 5 star hotel, this experience comes with no beach sports/ facilities/ no indoor pool/ no bath salts/ spa still has incomplete interiors/ jacuzzi that feels like a foot pool. In short try the Kempinski next door. Hotel is not ready. W know it is in soft openeing, but the following is too much: 1. No hot water 2. No room service 3. No consistent information from staff 4. Construction noise near/on beach. Everything... The water was dirty in all the rooms, we tried several room and several floors but all was extremely bad. We were not able to stay at night because, we couldn't wash our faces or take a shower. so we went back home at that night.... I have come to learn later, that the water problem was present since more than 1 week and no body did anything about it. In fact, the stuff lied to us when they told us that it just happened. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone at all.
