The location is great, walking distance to almost everything nice in the historical center of the city. The room was spacious, well equipped and always clean. ALL the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast system is a bit different, as they don't have a restaurant within the building. They can bring it to the room, or you can have it in one of 4 different restaurants. We had the second choice and it was awesome. Also we like very much the design of the hotel. We reccommend this hotel w.
all reviews » The location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance to the opera and Main sights. The junior suite was large and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Wifi worked well. Nice size closet. The people at the reception were very courtious and whike we arrived before official check in time they had the room ready for us. By the way, the cafe next door has delicious cakes and coffee, Sherlock is a nice place for dinner and The trouvadof perfect formbreakfast and lunch. Everything was perfect. Location is very nice, silent but 5 Mins by walking to the crowd. Rooms are nice, high ceiling and totally clean and large enough. Staff is perfect, they speak very good english, so lovely and helpful. Everything we requested was welcomed and they helped a lot. WiFi had poor speed sometimes. The breaftast that was brought to the room, was so so. On the positive side, the hotel provides guests with voucher for a couple of cafes bearby. We went twice to the Trobadour, which is belgian and serves delicious crepes and omelettes. Nothing. Slowest elevator in the world (even though they try to justify it with a sign about Unesco). On the up side, forces you to exercise a bit using the stairs. Very weak internet connection on the 3rd floor. The hotel looks a bit run down and I found there was poor ventilation inside the room - even with switched off heating it was too hot in the room. A bit expensive for a small room and very small bed. I also don't like breakfast in my room as you are stuck with a pre-determined time but this is a minor issue. Breakfast coupons are provided to neighbouring cafes. We loved this concept, which provided us with variety, but some may not like the hassle of having to go out to get food (to be fair, a simple continental breakfast is available for delivery to the room). Room too warm & unable to lower temperature. Water smelt 'off' in bathroom. noisy neighbours on sunday morning; some bass sounds. Breakfast not good (in house) they have an option to eat outside, maybe that's better. they should put internet with Explorer browser;. No restaurant facility. Not a small bar or place to eat. Though enough posibilities next door and room-service arranged;. they don't serve breakfast, though they give voucher, normally you have to pay additionally to have proper breakfast. don't order taxi in hotel, they will be always expensive, better call yourself. Really bad breakfast No late check-out allowed. Alexandra from reception woke me up calling at 10am to register some giest that was not threre!!.
