I was very happy with the hotel. The apartman was clean, very pleasantly furnitured, well equipped. It even had a minibar, that I did really not expect in an apartman hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Locationwise the metro is just a short walk away, so everything accessible. It is close to Kievska Lavra, which is also a plus. WIFI and AC were working without issues. There are shopping and dining possibilities in the close-by neighbourhood. I can only give a top mark for this hot.
all reviews » In summary - clean, well located, quiet and spacious. We arrived very early in the morning (6 am) and they allowed us in the room. Everybody from the staff was very kind. There was food and water in the fridge when we arrived, that was crucial since we were really tired and it was too early that shops weren't actually open. The room is like and 1 bedroom apartment. Very convenient for those who like space and to have a kitchen available. There is a metro and a 24h market close by. One of the mo. It exceeded our expectations. The airport collection service was well worth the cost. Throughout our stay, the staff were available, knowledgeable and very willing to give valuable advice and recommendations on everything from flea markets to restaurant reservations. Great location for the cave monasteries, 5 minutes walk to the Metro and only 15-20 minutes walk to the city centre. The studio was well-equipped, and the building had excellent security. Overall, we were delighted with our cho. Very friendly staff who spoke good English. Luggage man carried our bags up 4 floors. They arranged a taxi to the airport for us the following morning. Upon arrival we were given a map of the local area with a run down of where the local recommended restaurants and supermarkets were located, and the most interesting parts of Kiev to visit. A very good service, apartment was fantastic and very well priced. We will certainly be staying again!. The Sherborne is centrally located and close to restaurants, banks, the Metro and tourist destinations. Marina, Anna and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed is was spacious, the bed comfortable and the large kitchen allowed us to eat in on occassion. The wi-fi was great and allowed us to stay in touch while on holiday. Should our travels take us back to Kyiv, we would stay at the Sherborne again. A great apart-hotel located fairly close to the city center. I stayed here for a chernobyl tour. You can walk to nearly all the monuments as well as the public square. The staff was fantastic as well, and helped out when I needed information printed or needed a taxi. A definite minus, specially because we managed to win the highest floor ( 8th ? ) :-)))) But we got help with the luggage ........ Don't drink or eat anything from the room. Things are overpriced. A regular bottle of water in the 24h market across the street costed less than 0,5 euro. In the room, they charged us 2,9 euro. That was the only complaint about this hotel. If you do eat or drink something from the fridge in the apartment, go to the market afterwards to replace what you've eaten. The hotel is not easy to be found. They should put signs in the streets to help. Nothing that I can think of. Doesn't seem to have an elevator, and the trek to the small studio apartments is a long one. When you stay, you may have a better time finding the apart-hotel on foot, however there are signs for it on both sides of the building. It helps to print out a map of the vicinity for the taxi driver. Everything was great. Mattress is a bit hard, even though I like hard, this one is not comfy at all. No elevator. It was a bit hard to find. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The building and its access not so nice (typical soviet) - after heavy rain lots of big puddles everywhere. Can't think of anything to dislike. walking up the many stairs. The balcony was not an open balcony and no elevator. The cost of the shuttle bus from and to the airport. (too expensive). should be more affordable, hard to find. no elevator - and it's 5th floor!. There is nothing to dislike about the Sherbourne Guesthouse. Nothing much, a microwave and toaster would be nice in the kitchen. Some of the rooms do not have Windows so you better ask. No elevator. The apartment design needs a change. Not luxury apartments but functional. Slightly further out from the centre than I had expected - a good 30 minute walk. absence of elevator.
