The location was amazing - right across the road from St Pancras/Kings Cross train station. There were plenty of eating places with a minutes walk. The hotel also offered a discount in a local restaurant. The room was spacious, well lit and tastefully decorated. I didnt feel as if I was in a busy area of the city, it was a peaceful oasis. The whole place was clean and comfortable with enough of a hint of luxury without being arrogant with it.
all reviews » We came into London by Eurostar to see a show and then we had to get to Heathrow the next morning. This hotel is perfectly positioned for easy access to all the train stations we needed and although the room was small, it was spotless And refurbished. We took a street level room as there are no lifts and we had heavy cases and with the air con on plus the double glazing had no issues with noise. Great for a short stay. The location is really good its just min away from the underground and Euro star and train station and Mcdonald is just beside the hotel. Highly recommended for those who wants to train between UK and Europe. Left baggage is charged for GBP5 per bag, its cheaper than the left baggage at the train station. Hotel is excellent choice for a brief stay, two nights at most. Location excellent for travelers out of kc, St. Pancras. Easy walk to stations. Rooms small but excellent in design and bathroom facilities. Continrntal breakfast very good and superb small Italian restaurant connected to hotel. The hotel had everything we required: convenience of location in respect of St Pancras, bedroom clean and comfortable for an overnight stay and tea/coffee facilities in the room. The restaurant, also, offered a good menu for an evening meal at reasonable prices. The location is very strategic in front of King"s Cross and St Pancras station. The room is clean and so does the toilet. The price was the same as the day I booked in the internet. But I failed to pay with my credit card and paid cash instead. It's Ok for me. I'd heard that the rooms were small but I thought the size was good - not the biggest room but plenty big enough. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Conveniently located 5 minutes bus ride from euston station (2 stops away No. 73 bus) easy to walk to from euston station. Ideal location for all tourist locations. Yes you can hear the trains and yes breakfast can be busy but this place is well located, well priced and well fitted out and there was plenty of food for breakfast and they kept it coming. Location centre of London, Room was Clean and large,I was over looking Euston Rd but still could not hear the traffic,30 seconds from Kings cross. Pubs and resturants close by,. AWe had to take both the underground and national rail and its location couldn't have been better. Plus there was an excellent bangladesh restaurant near and laundry as well. No blind or net curtain at the room window but looked straight out into offices opposite.Good job I put my shorts on when I got up the first morning!! Vey high wifi charge at £2 per hour, highest I've come across. I didn't bother with it. nothing - this hotel will be our first choice when travelling to London again. Although it was a double room it would have been a bit cramped for two. At £140 a night it was hardly a bargain but hey, that seems to be the going rate in Wimbledon fortnight!!!. room was initially quite cold but on reflection had one of my best nights' sleep in a while. While convenient to Kings Cross, this meant the surrounding environment was a bit rough. They work differently to other hotels booked through letsbookhotel.com, not allowing pre-payment, but demanding money on check in with a big surcharge for credit cards. Also, every little thing seemed to cost extra...storing luggage for a day, wi fi, drink with pre-paid breakfast, so they felt a bit stingy (given the rate we were paying). Breakfast was a little too simple and would get boring if you stayed for 2 - 3 days. Toilet paper missing in my room bit this was put right within seconds of being pointed out. no complaints. Free wifi would be good. No elevator so carrying heavy bags up stairs are a bit of a workout. Refreshments looked tired and there was no milk provided Access to my room 207 was difficult as the fire door very close to the room door made it very awkward and would have been a real hazard of an emergency occurred. accomodation was alittle cramped but ok for an overnight stay. Paid internet (hey, it's 2013!!!) Expensive if booked at full price. Double bed sagged in the middle. NO LIFT W arren of stairs and corridors to breakfast area E ntrance was a bit shabby worn carpet chipped paintwork Bedding a bit tired. The Breakfast was a bit sparse for Continental Breakfast .. should have a wider choice ..I.E. fresh fruit...choice of cereals.... Yoghurt ..etc... Apart from that nothing else. Only 1 pillow on the bed each. Nothing all good for the money. couldn't fault it. No free wifi.
