The room and bathroom were clean. We add wireless for free though it could be slow. The included breakfast was filling and good. We were able to leave our laptops in safe storage and our bags in the common area (untouched all day) while we toured awaiting a 4:00PM train. . very central hotel, staff very nice and helpful and hotel room was cozy and kept clean.location to the subway. all reviews »
The room was nice and clean, the location was excellent. The breakfast was very good and the staff was extremely polite and caring.The location is perfect! Just opposite Kings Coss tube and rail station and St Pancras Internation. Staff friendliness, excellent location, good price. Really near to St Pancras/King's Cross Station. We stayed in the hotel which was being renovated and I did not really like it since it was not as welcoming as the main hotel. One of the ladies doing the breakfast was not very nice. She never smiled, never said hello nor good bye. This quite bad for your image and for the way you welcomecustomers.I was in the basement room and you could hear the tube trains rumbling below every few minutes. the size of the hotelroom, especially the bathroom. The room is on the lowest floor with window open to area access to public. It is better to install iron bar for security reasons and peace of mind. Size of room, state of decor, and shower. our room was so hot it was like a sauna, we had the window open all night in the middle of december but it was still too hot and the radiator would not switch off. Poor dining room and dining room staff. The room was not particularly clean (nail clippings lying all over the floor) and the bathroom was incredibly small and also not particularly clean (toothbrush holder covered in toothpaste and there was used soap still there). Staff not very friendly. Breakfast was stingy portions and was cold. Luggage storage is the reception - no responsibilty taken if luggage stolen. Bent bed, unstable television stand, television did not work properly + no remote.The room rates must be reduced to 20-30%, 50-60 Euros/day for my rate 80Euros. The hotel was not applicable " Three Stars ", should beimmediately down to single or double star/S.
