Truly excellent. We were upgraded to a 2 bed suit which was superb but event at the full price it will not disappoint. Can not rate the facilities, location and gardens highly enough. The rather grand entrance sets the scene for the hotel, clean, modern and classy. Friendly staff made our stay most pleasurable.Perfectly positioned close to the museums. The room suite wasvery comfortable.

I was not feeling well.I feel the shower system could be improved. the hotel staff had no change on two days for our payment. they were also preety rude about the fact that they had no change ........... that was not great.the (electric) shower is a real pitty. a few drops no enough pressure. Really the weakness of my stay. busy street, used earplugs to not be disturbed by street noise. Our room was next to the road so there was quite a bit of traffic noise at all times. I think that towels and bedsheets should be changed more frequently.needs more sofa space in lounge. If 4 / 6 adults were in the apartment they wouldnt have enough places to sit. Noise from streets,next time I would make a reservation to the room not face to the street.Very creaky floorboards - our own and from above. noisey even with double glazing. A good number of rooms, including mine, faces a very busy street making noise a significant issue. Ask for interior rooms. Attention to detail, the fridge door did not close and the bed was not secured, minor points as we did not complain.Postion of TV in relation to bed. Incredibly creaky floorboards both in our room and from above. We were road side and it was very noisy as a result. Early check out. Long waits for single operating lift. Firstly - both stays we had problems with malfunctions1. Shower did not work 2nd time the electrics went - both times we were required to move once w ehad unpacked.A reveiw of all facilites under a mainrtenance programme would be good.For a 4 star hotel the finish in the rooms (bathrooms especially) couldbe a little better. Overall pleasant stay however. Our room was on the street, and the old sash windows meant there was a fair amount of traffic noise.Need to have more cooking materials in the room... only one tiny pot, not colander unless you ask for it. And please get a broadband connection in each room. the bathroom water taps were hard to adjust a comfortable mix betwen hot and cold water......and no matter how much i tried to mix cold and hot war from the shower i couldnt the shower would only run freezing tap water .......... and i couldnt get the heater running in my room. Needs some attention, my room and colleague's rooms had same small problems, curtain and blinds equipment broken, double glazing did not close properly, bath and kitchen fittings tired and/or broken, air conditioner did not work properly. Basement room; not-warned. (The staff said it was "lower ground"; this only applies if the windows are above pavement level - these were not. No basin plug and not replaced in spite of a request.too noisy. I booked 2 rooms one for a friend. There room was in the basement andshould never have been let there was no heating poorly lit kitchenettenot functional.
