    We had a lovely stay at Glenora Guesthouse during our recent trip to Edinburgh. It's very convenient to Haymarket or just a short ride/bus to Princes Street & the Royal Mile. The staff was very nice, the twin room was HUGE for a European hotel & the beds are very comfortable (though soft). In fact being near the station meant parking was very convenient as we were able to use the station car park (£6 per day). Breakfast good. Free internet.     My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! From the time we arrived we were welcomed like family and we received excellent advice about things to do and see in Edinburgh. The room we stayed in was spacous, clean, nicely decorated and the bathroom was new with pretty tiles. The breakfasts are fantastic!     The Edinburgh Lodge was welcoming and friendly. The staff are friendly and informative. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, offering en-suite facilites with added touches.
