I was pleasantly surprised as the room was very cheap. Very spacious rooms. Friendly, helpful and hardworking staff; excellent bathroom shower; great location. Absence of a restaurant and bar was almost a bonus as it encourages use of the great variety of facilities available both in Rose Street itself and in the immediate area. A Sainsbury's mini-market a few doors away, Jenner's massive departmental store on the doorstep, an internet cafe opposite; all you can ask for!.all reviews »
Staff were very helpful and friendly, although perhaps not as clued up as they could be - didn't know a cafe I mentioned that was on the same street as the hotel. Very close to the city centre, services, castle, touristic attractions: you can reach all of them by walking some minutes. large clean airy rooms central for all atractions. within walking distance. Location. location was great. When I made the booking, it specified double bed and it turned out to be a twin bed room.could be more specific about no breakfast provided. The room was cold because the windows couldn't be closed properly. lack of promised breakfast.
