We absolutely loved everything about this place. It is very close to bus station, train station and super market and lots of restaurants. At the same time, it is not very noisy and very crowded. We had absolute freedom and no interference from the owners/ letting agency. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Really enjoyed our stay here the apartment was a great size for the 6 of us. We were met at our apartment by Leah who was very helpful. Location was great Princes Street was within walking distance, comfortable walking shoes a must! Wasn't here long enough so will return to theses apartments.
all reviews » My family and I loved our stay at these apartments, we stayed in the 3 bedroom which sleeps 8, and found it very spacious, clean and well kept. It's in a very good location, and the communication and helpfulness of the letting agent was great. The apartment met all of our needs for one couple and two adults requiring separate sleeping areas with communal eating and entertainment area. Spacious and clean. Well located for public transport and a pleasant walk into the city. The apartment was very new, clean and comftable. Location was very good also (10-15 min. walking to city centre and the same to Murrayfield Stadium). Staff was very helpfull and kind, which made our stay easy. 100% Recomended. We had a great stay,owner greeted us on arrival and showed us how to work everything.We had a dinner party and all the stuff we needed was there for us to use.Top accomodation and great service. The apartment was very centrally located to the city centre. It was spacious and clean. Two bedrooms. One with a double bed. The layout of the apartment. The location was just right for our stay. The basic amenities were of good quality. The friendliness of the receptionist on arrival. The location was good for getting a bus into Edinburgh. Plenty of room & good cooking facilities. Elevator to get bags up to room. Plenty of parking. Good location for a budget traveller. Location Size. It is a very good location. It is clean and tidy. We will stay there next time. Nothing I can think of... If I really had to fine fault the wifi wasn't great but that was more my teenager moaning than me!. The Wifi could have worked a little better as we found the signal poor, there were a couple of open bt wifi hotspots available but there was a charge for using these. The apartment was located on the fourth floor. There was no lift so it was difficult to get our cases up four flights of stairs. The springs were broken in one of the single beds. Noise from railway was a pain. Bedroom to front was slightly affected by noise outside at night. We would have liked a dishwasher rather than a washing machine. None. Apartment needs some updating, beds not the quality expected so had problems with 2 of them. We did tell the agency who tried to put it right but you can't fix cheap beds, this resulted in 2 of us having to put our mattresses on the floor. Sheets on the beds could be heavier. No plug in kitchen sink but not a disaster!!!! No other complaints at all. Night time noise from roadworks and train station. The shower, which kept slipping down during use and was slow. Internet connection weak. In a shady area. Lot of drunks about at night !. Fair walk to tourist sites. Quite far out from the city center but not a horrible walk. However quite difficult to sleep with the noise of footsteps above your head. Summer time day is too long in Edinburgh and it was day from 4am to 11pm. there weren't any blinders on the windows so we had to wake up too early in the morning with day-light. It was a big disadvantage. Absolutely nothing!!!. The glass table in the living area wasn't child friendly. Especially with a 2&3year old. Shower nozzle needed adjustment - but the manager did thank me for advising him. I tried to negotiate a late check out but failed. I think they should be more flexible as it is not such a busy time of the year. the toilet seat in the en-suite was broken, one of the pull out beds in the living room was broken and couldnt be used, the shower in the en-suite wouldnt stay up and the plug in the sink in the bathroom was stuck down. £300 for 2 nights seemed a little high unless all of these basic things were sorted to make the stay more comfortable. Lugging heavy bags up 3 flights of stairs. Windows did not open and close properly. Not much water pressure in shower. Lack of signing on where to go and who to see on arrival The Beds are Terrable. - poor wifi-connection - no hot water.
