  We had a lovely stay here , the staff are really friendly and helpful and it has a lovely atmosphere. The food is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Everyone made us feel welcome and it is very child friendly and makes a good base for sightseeing in Wales .   Me & my Mum stayed at the Stag Coach house on 25 October 2013 as we were visiting Many Tears Animal Rescue the following day. The hospitality we received was second to none! Warm, friendly, spotlessly clean room and the owners! As we didn't know the area, we asked them if they could call us a taxi to get to the rescue. Food excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and wonderful evening meal would recommend. Good value for money for a budget hotel.

We stayed there during the blizzard weather and the staff (especially reception) were super helpful and accommodating, updating us on the whole shut down situation with ferries etc. Reception even found us a lift down to the port amongst all the closed roads and madness! They were really helpful about what to see and the best way of getting there. Breakfasts were - David and Jane were probably the friendliest and nicest B&B owners I've ever met. Had a nice long chat, they offered a glass of wine and they were very interesting people. The room was also very nice and clean. They really helped make my stay in Guernsey memorable and enjoyable.

Not in walking distance from the town and there really is no restaurants (except hotels own) in waking distance. However bus 81 stops next to the hotel.
