This hotel was amazing! We stayed there during the blizzard weather and the staff (especially reception) were super helpful and accommodating, updating us on the whole shut down situation with ferries etc. Reception even found us a lift down to the port amongst all the closed roads and madness! Great food (especially the chicken kiev), facilities and super comfy beds, Stay here. Staff were very helpful, in particular the restaurant staff, great service both morning and evening for breakfast and first evening meal. Spa was also very good and the lady who helped me extremely helpful and kind. Loved the fact that there were FRESH flowers on the tables, how very nice.

Comfortable accommodation, nice staff, swimming pool and saunas for free, reliable price. I can recommend this hotel. The dinner menu was a bit limited and seemed more like a pub menu. There was a sample menu in the room with an offer on which was nothing like what was actually offered! We would have eaten dinner in the hotel had there been more variety. Some ceilings need decorating. Cracked window in dining room needs repairing!. It is directly under the flight path to the airport. Whilst there are not that many fights, they do start at 6.30 in the morning (and finish mid-evening). Extraction fan in the bathroom was clogged with dust and dirt. menu basic pub food no nice seafood as expected on an island. No smoking area. Bath to high for short people. Rooms to hot at night. Never had a smoking area. Furniture (particularly in bar area) was very tatty - a pity when compared to some of the other areas. Bedroom furnishings also a bit dated. Bed was not the most comfortable that I have slept in. Fans outside the window and aircraft noise. Tired, run-down and overpriced. Poor quality food in the restaurant. Airfield a noise problem.
