I was really ejnoyed that I have stayed in Serdivan hotel. Everything was excellent, especially reception staff. The location of this hotel is really comfy, you can reach Grand Bazar, Aya Sofia, Bazilika Cistern, whatever what is in that direction. The tram station Beayzit is closest station to the hotel. There are a lot of cafe's, restaraunts and markets around the hotel's place. The room was clean, the bed was double bath was ok. 2-way transfer from/to Ataturk airport was organized well. Pers.
all reviews » My family and I were traveling on May 2011 to Turkish/Istanbul and we stayed at Serdivan apart hotel. The hotel was about 10-15 minute walk from Blue Mosque, Tupkapi palace ,hagia sofia, Grand Bazaar& close to all the eateries in the Sultanahmet so it was in a fairly convenient location. The manager of the hotel, Mr.Yusuf&the staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly! The hotel was nice and safe& the rooms were clean. The view from the top floor breakfast terrace was awesome and . We stayed just 2 nights at this hotel but enough to have a relaxing city break. First of all the staff is very friendly and they will help you with everything you need. Rooms are very spacious and clean, ours had over 40 sqm (I think 47) including an open kitchen with basic equipments. The hotel is very well situated, in a valley somewhere between the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazar, you just have to walk few minutes from the tram station.And last but not least, the price is more than fair, great v. The hotel itself is small, which is very good. It’s very convenient, neat and clean. They change towels and clean rooms every day. We stayed in apartment 701 with a balcony, which was great, too. From that balcony one can see the Blue Mosque and hear muezzin calling to prayer. Alper, receptionist at the hotel, is very helpful, operative and accurate. You can easily find the way to the hotel. The downtown is at a walking distance. We are especially grateful to Karina – she cooks awesome breakfas. I had the most amazing experience. As a twenty year old woman, I was nervous going to Istanbul with only two female friends. The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. They were helpful and very friendly. The location is perfect and easily walkable at day and night. It's so close to absolutely everything: restaurants, the monuments, shopping. Our room was cozy and comfortable, much nicer than I expected. Everything was escellent at Serdivan, the staff was always giving us good advice, the rooms were cleaned everyday, breakfast was delicious. The hotel is situated 5 min walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar and the tram station. Our 6 days journey was perfect. We'll come back next year . Serdivan is the best choice for visiting Istanbul.went with my wife and very young children 2yrs and 5 months old. the hotel is excellent, very good rooms and very clean, we had brilliant stay, the staff are really really helpful. central every thing walking distance from hotel. the staff arranged the day trip for us in Istanbul and also tax back to the airport. i would strongly recommend this hotel. . Staff excellent as we were able to get in a room early and even let us use the room late on our departing day at no extra cost .Lovely breakfast on the roof terrace. The breakfast area becomes pretty small if it's raining(because a part is on the terrace which is outdoor) but if you want you can have the breakfast in the room. - the only issue in fact is the bad noise insulation. It's a tiny bit loud, but that did not really bother me. The breakfast is a bit repetitive, but if you are only there for a few days, it's completely fine. Only two indoor tables available for breakfast which meant we occasionally had to wait for a table, or take food back to our room, or sit outside in the +2 degree C weather!. Internet was not working very well (our floor was the only one lacking wi-fi access point), inner room without window feels somewhat airless, hot water supply could be better. for the first time in a room there was a bad smell. The second time the room was great and large. Basement apartment smelled a bit. A little more variety in the breakfast from day to day would be welcome. They are not!. The local taxi/tour busses had difficulty to locate the hotel-every time!Maybe a better location description is needed. View from the windows. And a little voicely street. Room was small , WiFi signal was weak and furniture was old. Nothing I don't like but some hotels in Istanbul comes with thin walls and you can hear other neighbor. Walls are a bit thin and so noisy. Not enough room at breakfast means you might have to elect top have it in your room. Booking.com site says that hotel is close to Blue Mosque 300 m, but actually it is more like 1.5 km. Location is quit far from the Tramway - and you have to climb a hard hill if you have big luggage. I suppose it is not renovated recently and looks a little bit old. breakfast and beds were not so good,. nothing. One of the lady staff (at Cafeteria) - not friendly, suspicious to customer, jeloues and not fair in treatment.
