The staff was very helpful and accomodating and polite. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family and will definitely stay there again when I go back. The breakfast buffet had a variety of foods to select from and the location of the hotel was right in the centre of the old city. everything was great We were very close to all tourist attractions.The hotel was lovely.Breakfasts were great and staff were very helpful.We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

During my 4 nights in Aziyade Hotel, i very enjoyed Hotel staff and breakfast, that are served on the upper level, therefore, its is very pleasant view on the city and the sea. Over cleanliness of the hotel and room was very good, way over my expectations for the value i paid. Rooms are not too big, but enough to be confortable for couple and even for 3 people. The hotel was very central and walking distance from lots of sights and shopping. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff for the most part were friendly. Despite the fact it's on a walking distance to the Blue Mosque it's difficult even for the taxi drivers to find it. But overall its fine. Staff in the Turkish bath were less friendly, and one of them smoked in the women's changing room which subtracted from the ambience. Every time we returned back to the hotel someone from the staff knocked the door of our room to present a newspaper. It was more comfortable to receive it at reception. Everything else was perfect!. size of double room was too small which made stay little difficult with children. At a little distance from sultanahmet square and tram station. The air conditioner was not working properly, and because there were not any other rooms available (so we were told), we could not get a room change.the "view" from the single room I stayed was a wall.! A/C in the room did not work well. Beds are quite hard. The sink was blocked, the fridge was not working, the aircondition wasmalfunctioning. The room was a little crammed and could benefit from some renovation.The reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. breakfast a little bit poor; small appartment (room 405); noise from corridor. Water stopped workıng several tımes, no AC. Turkish bath - hammam, definately do not count on using it between 10 to 4pm for free. They start heating it right after 10am, so by the time it gets really hot, its 4pm and it is not free of charge :). As for Gim, clean but do not expect to use it, too old. The same for jakuzzi, it was not in use.Even though we had stayed four nights, we did not receive a transfer back to the airport as we thought we would. Absence of tea-pot is in a number. A central conditioner works badly. At a temperature at night 15 degrees, it was stuffily at the room.some room doors maybe can change. 'wood doors' is very old style and not security. room was very small. Location. Although in the Historic center, there is too close with other buildings. The Air conditionning system in the restaurant, it was freezing.

Information about the area

Sultan Ahmed Mosque - 500 m -built between 1609 and 1616 by order of the Sultan Ahmed I, after whom it is named. It is commonly known as 'The Blue Mosque' due to its striking interior blue tiles.

Hagia Sophia - 500 m - constructed between AD 532 and 537, this superb survivor of Byzantine architecture is often considered one of the greatest and most beautiful buildings in existence. It is now home to the Ayasofya Museum.
