The hotel is perfect hotel,Specialy the design of the hotel is is very high quality.New rooms and very clean ,The service and hotel staff all were very friendly. Location of the hotel is ideal. in city centre , very good location. We have walked to the historic monuments, Topkapi palace and grand bazaar. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Very nice hotel just behind the Istanbul Cityhall. The hotel staff very friendly and helpfull, the position is very close to all the main tourists attractions and also very easy to reach by taxi all the shopping malls or shopping area. The room was ok, clean and warm. Breakfast same very morning but ok. Staff was helpful. Clean and comfy rooms.almost every thing. It is situated near the main attractions. I even walked from the hotel to the Grand Bazaar and to the famous Turkish Bath, Cemberlitas Hamami. The housemaids clean the room round the clock.The staff were really helpful and polite. The breakfast was great andthe turkish bath wonderful, as the weather wasent great the hotel wasa godsend. clean rooms. good location to go by tram to city center. The rooms are old, broken chairs and broken beds, the aircondition does not work neither the fridge.No any complain, perfect. excelent hotel , all fine. Witnessed a fight on the day of leaving between staff. We ordered a taxi thorugh reception to go to airport and the manager on the reception told us that the price would be at 30-32 TL based on the taximeter. The taxi driver did not use a taximeter. When we came at the airport he required 40 TL. I expected that if I order a taxi via reception there would not be such cheating.They advertised having a jacuzzi, but there was an additional fee if you wanted to use it. No smiles at front disk !!!. Every morning 6 A.M. all Istanbul is awaked by praying, the silent is disturbed and for 15 - 30 min is impossible to sleep and after that you are awake already...It is not very ok to take a walk when the night is coming and also difficult to find a nice restaurant to eat in the area. air conditioning was poor. One of the features of the hotel that I looked for is the "Fitness Room/Gym". However, this facility is only available from 2 pm to 10 pm and the guests should pay Euro 10 as entrance fee to the Health Club where the Fitness Room is located. Just the cost. The room was 900Euro for the week and when we paid it wasconverted into Lira so I still await the conversion rate to see what weactually paid. However I felt that 900 Euro was very high for a doubleroom even with a balcony(single rate 400). The reviews beforehandmentioned that the breakfast was really bad and this certainly was notmy experience - good with plenty of variety. recommendations of reception staff are not really in our benefit. Food: shabby breakfast, omlet was terrible, sausages and youghurt as well. I could only eat sandwiches and mandarines. Bad currency conversion rate.The insinstance of the personal (just some of them) to try to push me to use their firend cab services,,,every one in the hotel knows were I have to go to work, during my staying in there,,,,really unbelivable. a little bit noisy... Minibar: Fridge wasn't working.Bad door voice isolation. poor breakfast. there was not any serious problem. The bathroom is too small but clean, the breakfast is poor and the coffee is not good.Even if put "Do not disturb" label on the door cleaning lady tried to entry without knocking on the door. The staff, in general, were not very friendly, asked a lot of personal questions, etc. The Bartender however, was very good.hotel staff can be educated more. 1- The hotel reservation disk is not aware about the guest condition and is not updated. 2- You Should confirm anything several times and expect it will not happen. 3- Dont ask hotel to arrange any airport transportation.The quality of the breakfast selection. Coffee was horrible and they served Tang for orange juice. wireless internet was useless.The breakfast, location. cleanliness is not to the grade we used to and it is in a noisy neibourhood. the beds, the shower. very poor brekfast. The loby was dark, full of people waiting for their rooms, many luggage, the sauna was closed before the time. We left the hotel 2 days earlier and moved to another hotel. It was hot in the room,room is small,no safe deposit. Tab water and service.The bathroom had no towels, and we had to call 6 times until we got two towels, the breakfast was poor and limited to three soorts .staff is unfriendly and not helpfull.
