  I stayed for three nights and liked it very much. In combination with the price of 30e/night, I'm even giving it 5 stars (though for that money, naturally you're not getting one of the "private pool" suites but their smallest, still very comfortable double room.) It can happen that you get a room in one of the buildings up the steep mountain slope... what people say » though (I diddn't). The upside is a great view, the downside is: stairs. I think it would be a small, but valuable improvement if the hotel manager s - Staff is really helpful and frienly. Hotel is located on a very beautiful and quiet beach, it´s almost like a paradise! Special thanks of the birthdaycake and sparkling wine at the breakfast on 3.10.2013! =) The villa(number 5) with pool and seawiev is great! We had a great week in this resort and we really recommend this hotel to everybody!

  The staff at the resort are what makes the place . It is in an ideal setting with beautiful views - but without the happy Burmese Boys that looked after my young daughter and myself like we were family - it have been a different holiday . - Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location, poolside bungalow very nice, good location central to nearb... what people say » y beaches which are all well worth a short trip, swimming pool and gardens were some of the best we had seen in Thailand.

  Excellent bungalow very much in beach front. We did take family bungalow because it was nearest from beach, allthough we traveled with two of us. But it was in good price range and absolutely worth that price! Restaurant had very good food (best in the beach) and BBQ every night (also, excellent food!). Wifi was working well enoug - We totally loved our stay here at haad salad, the staff are amazing especially the English chap who makes sure all runs smoothly and done all he could to help us there, before we went we read on the reviews how far away from haad rin it was, it didn't stop us booking there and I'm glad I ignored those reviews, we jumped a taxi bus for 150 baht to take us in and paid 200 to get back, we hired a scooter from haad salad villa and I strongly advice any traveler to do this also, at 200 a day it will

  Went here for the full moon party but did'nt want all the noise of the full moon party. So location wise was amazing. Loads of really nice restuarants on the beach. 200 THB taxi to Full Moon Party pp which was awesome. A great stay and awesome views.   We got to stay in 4 out of 5 (or 6?) of the rooms, and each had its own charm. By far, this was the best value we got in comparison to any place we stayed in Thailand. Especially liked the bathroom facilities. In general, it's a very special place and very different from regular resorts. Stefan and his girlfriend were extremely nice and welcoming, and she is also an amazing cook (made the best tom yam we tasted here). The wa - It's more like a bed and breakfast, which is a good thing here. Stefan and Ei stretched that extra mile to be able to give want you wanted. It was almost to be in a new family. The decor and setting is beautiful and you meet a lot of new people that you can hang out with as a alone traveller. Haad Salad is a perfect place to stay at if you want a relaxed, uncommercial holiday. And it's close by to the yoga retreat, Ko am (?), Haad Yao etc.

  We stayed in the beachfrontvilla. We had an excellent view at the beach and the ocean. The villa was a good place to stay for us with our 11 months old son. He could sleep in his own room. We have both been to Thailand before (Samui, Phuket, Bangkok, Pangan) and picked Pangan simply because it was on route (we flew from Europe to Bangkok to Suratthani and then kept going to Australia) and we were on a fairly tight budget. What they don't advertise are their great staff who make you feel very welcome and relaxed from the moment you arrive, Raymond (50 Baht) and (Prince) William in paticular will get you food, drink and may even sing a song or two.
