When I first booked this hotel I made a mistake when entering the dates and immediately rang letsbookhotel.com. They were very helpful and rang Plai Gardens (less than 10 minutes after I had booked) to see if I could get a refund as it was an honest mistake and I was going to still book the correct date: Their answer was No! Would of loved to book somewhere else but it appears they are the cheapest Airport Hotel by a long way.

The daily rate is about the return cost by Taxi into Bangkok, so the free pick up to and from Bangkok airport is effectively free accommodation. The journey is just several mintes. The rooms are clean, but basic. Free wi-fi a bonus and if you stay overnight the breakfast is worth the small price. This hotel suited my needs perfectly when I needed to spend the night in Bangkok and remain close to the airport. It is far cheaper than some of the rival hotels, is clean, comfortable and offers a free hourly airport transfer. I paid 590 Baht for this and when compared to other nearby hotels, is very reasonable. Plai garden boutique guesthouse was by far ar favorite place to stay in Bangkok. The room was really nice and made me feel like I was having a genuine experience in Thailand. The free 24 hr shuttle service is amazing and the staff was really nice. This hotel performs a great service to travelers, It's out of the way so if you're booking it as a holiday location, you're in the wrong place, it's still 30-40 minutes into Bangkok if you feel the need. The food was not great, but edible. The location is not the most ideal but nothing you can really do about that. It was still worth it fo the price. It was not a problem for us as we spent the day in Bangkok and only really wanted a bed for the night because we did not want to get caught up in traffic jams on the morning of our flight. There is nothing really there to do or see and for us this was not a problem. Having to pay 100 bahts for checking in one hour before. Day receptionist could just be a little more friendly. Could not access the wifi from my room but it was easy to get in the main reception area. it doesn't seem to be in the best part of town, but it was good enough for my purposes. The 150m access alleged road. The room was small, the 3rd (actually second) was covered only with sheet directly on the wooden base. Mosquitos! But it was our own fault (slept without airco and with open windows). So keep you windows closed!. Almost nothing. Beware of mosquitos if you choose to eat on the terrace of the restaurant. Communal areas were rather shabby. There was a big lizard in the room and it must have been living there as we looked behinf the curtain it was full of its crap. Breakfast was not very good.. Nothing to do around but rest for the rest of your trip. Pickup place is stated wrong here on site. In the airport the floor is marked as #2. Because of this mistake we wasted lots of time waiting for the pickup on floor 3, while it actually was one floor below!. How hot it was in the hallways, the elevator seemed pretty rough and the food at the cafe was overpriced. The bathroom will need to be more clean. the towels weren't very soft, but a VERY minor thing, otherwise can't think of anything. it would be nice if other restaurants and shops were within walking distance ... The threshold that separated the shower from the rest of the bathroom didn't reach all the way to the wall, so the whole floor would get wet whenever I took a shower. Also, I wish the garden was bigger. The restaurant closed too early. After arriving late in the evening we wanted some food but had to settle for beer. would have preferred a free shuttle to the city frequently would have liked to have tea and coffee and a hot water kettle indoors. Some staff is great but some guy is fair. unpaved roads in front, lighting system inside room,view from room not nice, curtain needs to be changed. When i arrive in Bangkok andthan i went gate 4(2nd floor). I could not meet staff from hotel. I asked another hotell staffs n a security guards. But they did not know my hotel staff. Breakfast could have had more choices. Considering the price and location (proximity to Suvharnabhumi airport) there was nothing I didn't like. Food was horrible in the cafe for breakfast. Some taxis don't know how to get there. Not the hotels fault. Furniture is a bit outdated. I don't have a specific complain. But I felt that receptionist/ manager is smart and professional but less hospitality. very good for the price we paid. Like all Bangkok beds, it was hard.
