I stayed in room 219.It was clean and smelled clean. Generous sized room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet offered a broad range of healthy breakfast choices.Location was good. Tram into city center is just a few min walk away and takes only 15min. Im definitely coming back as long as the hotel doesn't jack up prices once the construction site in front of the Hotel is gone. I paid 125 EUR per night for a double room, which was great value this Hotel.
all reviews » The location of the hotel was good, the ABBA Museum is in the same building in the basement. The Vasa Museum and the Nordisk Museum sa well sa Scancen are very close. You can take the Hop on Hop off bus to see the central Stockholm - the bus stop is not far from the hotel. The breakfast is good, the staff is polite. The hotel is very small. Thanks to all the staff and management of Melody Hotel!! It was great stay in this cozy place with lovley dinners. My daughter liked so much your special made for her gluten-free gamburger!! Room was always clean and tidy. Staff at the reception are award-winning - they were SO helping for us! Thanks for our fantastic staying!!. Enjoyed every minute in the hotel. Staff friendly and very helpful. New hotel with all modern fixtures and fittings. Our double bed was excellent. Breakfast was included and could not have been better. Not in central Stockholm but it is a short tram ride away. All new hotel, nice design, large comfortable rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the selection of microbrewery beers in the bar. Will need a lot more time to try them all. Will go back here on my next trip to Stockholm. Liked the location as we had come to visit Abba Museum. While the restaurant is nice and food is decent, I found it a little bit pricey. A salad, a glas of wine and a small bottle of sparkling water ended up costing me about 40 EUR. The room was small, the Window view was a very close Wall of the next house. Room could have been a little larger. If you have a couple of large suitcases it could be a bit of a crush. No tea/coffee making 'stuff' in the room. Not a big deal for us, but some people may like it. Small gym, room service closed. nothing really except what I mentioned on the good page. You have to be prepared for noise at night as it is very close to Grøna Lund. My TV did not work but I was so busy I forgot to tell the staff. Otherwise really good. Central heating system, we couldn't control the room temperature but it was only centrally managed and first night was not comfortable as it was very cold only upon request they adjusted the temp on other day. Bathroom doesnt have the curtains thus while taking a shower the whole bathroom gets very wet. Attitude to young children by some (a minority) of restaurant staff was poor. Grossly excessive cost of extra bed/cot. Teething problems of new facility. It was a little bit dark in the room even with all light turned on. Bit of a Bulding Site still - everything not ready Not possible to get cappuciono's etc - only regular coffee. There was continuous noise from outside until 10pm. The food at the Melody Wine & Food was nothing special. -There was no iPod-dock in the room like what is written on letsbookhotel.com -No massages in the hotel like what is written on letsbookhotel.com. Not enough furniture in the room. Nothing. No 'Tea' facilities. No shoeshine machine. Phone in room - no information on what numbers to dial for reception or room service. Thought it was closer to centre of town. Different tariff (higher) for extra night, instead of being happy that I wan't to extend my staying. Parking situation at the end I could use the parking of an other hotel, but information on forehand was missing. Was first (as single/female traveller?) placed in a back-room. Requested and was moved to a better room next morning. Couldn't regulate the flow of AC/ventilation which was straight on to the bed. Beds very soft. Missed a list of TV-channels, and info re. WiFi and phone. I would have liked a non-gas/alcohol drink in the mini-bar, and a tea-corner in the room. Clearing of breakfast tables was slow which limited seating. Staff used part of the lobby as a work-area. Road works directly in front of hotel - they said there was 2 more weeks to go. TV system cut out on two days. No discount to enter the Abba museum, even though it is joined on to hotel. Entry an eye- watering £19.50 per person!. The minibar was empty. They did'nt provide roomservice. There were no knobs in the bathroom. The hotel missed alot of facilities, but it has just opened so it will probably improve. Obviously the hotel was still having work done,I could hear the workmen drilling at 11pm,and there were some things in the room that were missing.The breakfast bar was a bit disorganised.
