Excellent location - centrally located in the heart of Stockholm with excellent restaurants very close. Hotel offered a great breakfast and was included in room price. Nice seating area on second floor...could site outside as well with waterfront just across the street. Hotel also offered wine by the small bottle (Red, White or Champagne), and various small sandwiches at a nominal cost -- very convenient and delicious.

It is a old-style hotel. I had a single that was just that, a nice room with a bed and a bathroom. I is fancy in a way that was Fancy in the 40.ies and I certainly like that!!. The ambience of the 1930s, the room (if you get one with a view and a balcony, it makes all the difference), the excellent breakfast, the location and the staff. Very good & beautiful place, great staff, tasty breakfast. And the building itself - is a good point of interest. Examine it, it's wonderful!. The period environment gave a great atmosphere. Being able to walk out of reception onto Strandvagen was a great asset. This is my favourite in Stockholm. It is like coming home to your own house. Not one vulgar detail! What a relief. Bathroom is not so good for that price of the room, but I believe it's made for feeling spirit of early 1900 hotel. No gym, old furniture in the room but it's a part of historical charm. Single room a little bit too dark - a brighter light on the ceiling would be better. Price. Pillows too small!. Smal room. nil. No parking space, so we got à fee to pay 100 pounds, as we had parked on à nearly unmarked handikcapp parkingspace. Room was very dark, hardly any daylight. This hotel is defenitely NOT a 4 star hotel. No elevator. Small bathroom. The rooms are very old and in a bad condition, not very clean either. Based on this it should be a maximum 2 star hotel!. No elevator Staff seemed not in the best of moods during our stay.
